1. Drill a small 3/10" hole in your tailgate bracket.
2. Insert the tailgate pin switch (sold separately) into the tailgate bracket.
3. Feed the wiring from the control box through the underbody and connect it to the tailgate pin switch.
4. Secure any loose wiring with zip ties.
Ensure that you do not connect the kit to a power source exceeding 10 AMPs to prevent early failure. Additionally, make sure that the LED bars, control box, and wiring are mounted in areas where the temperature does not exceed 85 or 185 degrees Fahrenheit. It is crucial to follow the installation instructions carefully to avoid any damage or safety hazards.
