2. Locate the thumb control on the handle.

5. To select the Flat spray pattern, push the thumb control to the left. This pattern creates a wide spray of flat water and is useful to disperse and sweep leaves and dirt.
6. To choose the Cone spray pattern, push the thumb control to the right. This pattern gives you a circle of spray, allowing you to water a ring of plants all at once.
