1. Choose a location for installation where vibration and shock can be minimized, and where there is no direct sunlight on the display.
2. Connect the pressure port using a 1/4 NPT male connection, tightening it 1 1/2 turns past hand tight.
3. Connect the electrical wiring using the provided M12 connector. The wiring color code is as follows:
- Red: Power (+)
- Black: Open Collector Output OUT 1
- White: Open Collector Output OUT 2 / Analog Output
- Green: Power (-)
- Silver: Shielded Ground
- Clear: Vent Tube
4. Ensure that the body of the transducer is grounded before making any electrical connections. When disconnecting, remove the ground last.
5. If using the optional analog output, supply a voltage of 16-36Vdc. If using the switch output version, supply a voltage of 11-36Vdc.
6. Mount the unit in a vertical position with the electrical termination facing upward to prevent possible overpressure damage from frozen media.
7. Avoid exposure to static electrical charges by grounding the body of the transducer before making any electrical connections.
