2. Ensure that you are using this track accessory with the Progress Track 1 track only. Do not attempt to power this accessory with any form of power supply cord from a wall receptacle or attach any convenience receptacle to it.
3. If you are using any special control devices with this fixture, make sure to follow the instructions carefully to comply with N.E.C. requirements. If you have any questions, it is recommended to contact a qualified electrical contractor.
4. This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. After installing, handling, cleaning, or touching this product, thoroughly wash your hands.
5. When installing or using this track accessory, always follow basic safety precautions. Read all instructions and turn off electricity at the main fuse box before installing, adding to, or changing the configuration of the track. Also, disconnect electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker before servicing or relamping.
6. Do not install this track accessory in a damp or wet location or less than five (5) feet above the floor. The track must be installed in a location and manner consistent with its intended use and in compliance with the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes. Ensure that the track is grounded to avoid potential electrical shock or other hazards. Polarity must be maintained throughout the installation.
7. Use this track accessory only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to connect power tools, extension cords, appliances, or similar items to this track accessory to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock.
8. Maintain a minimum distance of six (6) inches between the track lighting fixture assembly or accessory and any curtain or similar combustible material.

10. For track connectors (Cross, T, and L), do not turn on power to the track until the connector is fully installed in all track sections to be connected. Exposed conductors become electrically live and dangerous immediately when power is turned on.
11. To install the connector, loosen the retaining screws on the connector and insert it into the track. The connector will only fit into the track one way, with the polarity guide slot on the connector in line with the polarity guide slots on the track sections.
12. After connecting the track sections, tighten the retaining screws.
