1. Locate the included USB cable.
2. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the barcode reader.

4. The barcode reader will be recognized as a keyboard input device and will not require any additional software installation.
5. Once connected, the scanner will start sending scanned barcodes as keyboard inputs to any open application that accepts keyboard input, such as Excel or database entry forms.
