2. Place the microscope on a stable surface.

5. Connect the power source by either plugging in the power adapter or inserting 2 AA batteries into the designated compartment.
6. Adjust the focus knobs on both sides of the microscope to bring the specimen into clear view.
7. Turn on the LED illumination system using the switch located on the base of the microscope.
