1. Download the Smart Life or Tuyasmart app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and create a new account or log in to your existing account.
3. Make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
4. Press and hold the reset button on the sensor for about 5 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing rapidly.
5. In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
6. Select "Add Manually" and choose "Temperature and Humidity Sensor" from the list.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your WiFi network credentials (SSID and password).
8. The app will search for the sensor and connect it to your WiFi network.
9. Once the connection is successful, you can give the sensor a name and customize its settings.
10. The sensor is now connected to your smartphone, and you can monitor the temperature and humidity data through the app.
