1. Make sure the unit is turned off. You can confirm this by pressing and holding the Power/Mode/Alarm Reset Button until "OFF" appears on the display.
2. Press and hold the Clock/Presets Button until the time flashes on the display.
3. Use the Hour/+ Button to adjust the hour. The PM indicator will light up if the hour is set for PM. There is no AM indicator.
4. Use the Minute/- Button to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the Clock/Presets Button to complete the time setting.
Note: The Timex T231 alarm clock does not have a separate AM/PM indicator. The PM indicator will only light up when the hour is set for PM.
