1. Locate the USB cable that came with the scanner. Ensure that your computer has an available USB port.
2. Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the scanner. The USB port is located on the side of the scanner.

5. Once the scanner is recognized, you can start using it. The scanner is now ready to scan barcodes.
