1. Open the washer door and remove any clothing or items.

3. Add an affresh® Washer Cleaner tablet to the washer drum. Do not add the tablet to the dispenser drawer.
4. Close the washer door.
5. Select the Clean Washer with affresh® cycle. On some models, you can also select the Fan Fresh®/Fresh Hold®/Fresh Spin™ option to help dry the washer interior after the cycle is complete.
6. Touch and hold Start/Pause to begin the cycle.
7. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow for better ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
It is recommended to perform this cleaning procedure at least once per month or every 30 wash cycles to control the accumulation of soils and detergent residue inside the washer. For more detailed instructions, refer to the "Cleaning Your Front-Loading Washer" section in your Whirlpool Front Load Washer Owner's Manual.
