General Information on Epilation
All methods of hair removal at the root can lead to ingrown hair and irritation (e.g., itching, discomfort, or reddening of the skin), depending on the condition of the skin and hair. This is a normal reaction and should quickly disappear, but may be stronger when removing hair at the root for the first few times or if you have sensitive skin.
If skin irritation persists after 36 hours, consult a physician. Skin reactions and pain sensation generally diminish with repeated use.
Skin inflammation can occur if bacteria penetrate the skin (e.g., when sliding the appliance over the skin). Thorough cleaning of the epilation head before each use minimizes the risk of infection.
Consult a physician before use if you have:
- Eczema, wounds, inflamed skin reactions (e.g., folliculitis, varicose veins).
- Around moles.
- Reduced skin immunity (e.g., diabetes, pregnancy, Raynaud's disease).
- Haemophilia or immune deficiency.
Fine, re-growing hair might not reach the skin surface. Regular use of massage sponges or exfoliation peelings helps prevent ingrown hairs by removing the upper skin layer.

Diagram Description: The product is an electric epilator. Key components include the epilation head (1) with tweezers, buttons to release the head (2), a switch to turn it on/off (3), a port for the power cord (4), the power cord itself (5), and an optional cap for sensitive areas like underarms (6). Visual instructions demonstrate holding the device at a 90-degree angle, epilating legs from bottom to top, and using the device for underarms and bikini lines. Cleaning involves using a brush dipped in alcohol.
How to Epilate
- Ensure your skin is dry and free from grease or cream.
- Thoroughly clean the epilation head (1) before starting.
- Turn on the appliance by sliding the on/off switch (3) upwards.
- Rub your skin to lift short hairs. For optimal performance, hold the appliance at a 90° angle to your skin and guide it without pressure against the hair growth, in the direction of the switch.
- Leg Epilation: Epilate legs from the lower leg upwards. Keep the leg straight when epilating behind the knee.
- Underarm and Bikini Line Epilation: Use the underarm cap (6) for these areas. Be aware these areas can be sensitive, especially initially; pain sensation diminishes with repeated use. Clean the area thoroughly before epilating to remove residue (e.g., deodorant) and pat dry with a towel. For underarms, lift the arm and guide the appliance in different directions.
Cleaning
After epilating, unplug the appliance and clean the epilation head (1).
Thoroughly clean the tweezer element using the cleaning brush dipped into alcohol. You can turn the tweezer element manually while cleaning (e).
To remove the epilation head, press the release buttons (2) on the left and right and pull it off. After cleaning, place the epilation head back on the housing.
