Section 2: Unit Appearance
The digital display shows the current time (e.g., 10:38 AM), date (e.g., 01.26. SUN), and temperature (e.g., 68.2°F). Labeled parts of the display are A1: Time, A2: Date, A3: Weekday, and A4: Temperature.
The back of the clock features a hanging hole (C1), a stand (C2), and the battery compartment (C3). The buttons are labeled as B1: Up button (▲), B2: TIME SET button, B3: Down button (▼), and B4: RESET button.
Section 3: Getting Started
- Open the cover of the battery compartment (C3).
- Insert 3 AA batteries according to the polarity (+) and (-) marks inside the compartment.
- Close the cover of the battery compartment (C3).
- The clock can be wall mounted using the hanging hole (C1) located at the back of the unit. The clock can be placed onto any flat surface using the stand (C2) also located at the back of the unit.
- To access the TIME SET (B2), Up button (B1), Down button (B3), and RESET (B4) buttons, pull down the stand (C2).
Section 4: Setting the Time and Date
- Press and hold the TIME SET button (B2) for three seconds to enter time setting mode.
- Setting order: 12/24 hour format > Hour > Minute > Second (can only be reset to 0) > Year > Month > Day > Temperature Unit > Language > Exit.
- Press the Up button (B1) and Down button (B3) to adjust each value. Press and hold to advance through the values rapidly.
- Press the TIME SET (B2) button to confirm each setting and move on to the next one.
- If no buttons are pressed for 15 seconds, all the settings will be saved and the clock will automatically return to normal display mode.
Section 5: Temperature
- After powering on, the clock will automatically measure the current temperature.
- Temperature range: -9.9°C to 50°C.
- If the temperature is higher than 50°C, "HH.H" will appear on the display.
- If the temperature is lower than -9.9°C, "LL.L" will appear on the display.
NOTE: If the unit displays an incorrect temperature, reset it by pressing the RESET (B4) button with a metal pin.
Section 6: Important Information
- Do not expose the clock to extreme temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight. Keep the clock away from wet areas.
- Do not clean the clock with materials or products that are abrasive or corrosive. Such cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic components.
Section 8: Care for Your Product
- Place your clock on a stable surface, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture.
- Clean the clock with a soft cloth moistened using only mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as benzene, thinner, or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit.
Section 7: Warranty
Marathon Watch Company warrants this item to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use in accordance with care and usage instructions for 2 years from date of purchase from an authorized retailer. This warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse or any irregular application. Return the item to us properly packaged accompanied with the original bill of sale. If we confirm a defect, we will replace it with the same item or one of similar value and return it to you at no charge.
