Getting Started
Create New Project
The "Create New Project" screen allows users to configure project details. Under "PROJECT SETTINGS", users can input the Venue, Designer, Version, and Notes for their project. "APPLICATION SETTINGS" include options for Measurement Units (Metric or Imperial), Temperature Units (Fahrenheit or Celsius), and Color Theme (Dark or Light), with a "Restore Defaults" option. After making necessary settings, click the "Continue" button to begin.
Open Existing Project
Users can open previously saved projects by selecting the "Open Existing Project" option and clicking the "OPEN" button.
Venue and Surface Management
Venue Screen
The "Venue" screen provides an interface for managing the acoustic space. It displays the venue layout and allows for the addition of new surfaces.
Surface Management
Users can add new surfaces to the project and select existing surfaces for editing. The software supports managing multiple surfaces within a venue.
Surface Properties
The "Surface Properties" section enables manual input for defining surface geometry. This includes setting Width, Depth, Height, and Rotation. Specific points (P1, P2, P3, P4) can be defined with their respective X, Y, and Z coordinates. A dotted line indicates the "Ear Height", representing the ear height at the listening position, which can be set manually (e.g., 1.00 m).
Visualizing Surfaces
The software offers "PLAN VIEW" (top-down) and "SIDE VIEW" (side profile) to visualize the venue surfaces. Each point defining a surface is marked on these views. Users can intuitively adjust the shape and height of surfaces by dragging these points directly in the interface.
Interface Features
Surface Customization
Users have control over surface appearance, including changing surface color, adjusting the transparency of overlapping displays, toggling the visibility of displays, and locking surface settings to prevent accidental changes.
Menu Commands
A comprehensive menu bar provides access to various functions: New Project (Ctrl+N), Open Project (Ctrl+O), Save Project (Ctrl+S), Save Project As (Ctrl+Shift+S), Settings (Ctrl+Shift+P), Help, and Exit (Ctrl+F4).
Settings Adjustment
Project settings configured during initial project creation can be modified at any time by accessing the "Settings" option from the menu commands.
