System Overview and Components

This guide provides instructions for replacing filters and components in the Sentry Wellness System TriGuard Direct RO water filtration system. The system is designed for under-sink installation and ensures purified water.

• H) Inlet Tubing: 1/4" tubing for connecting the cold water supply to the system. [tubing]
• I) Outlet Tubing: 1/4" tubing for connecting the system output to the faucet. [tubing]
• J) Mounting Screws: Two screws for securing the bracket. [screws]
• K) Wrench: A tool for removing filter housings. [wrench]

Note: Filters (C, D, E) must be placed into their corresponding housings (B).

• 1-2 Adjustable Wrenches/Pliers
• Drill with a Philips Head Drill Tip

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE PLASTIC WRAP FROM FILTERS UNTIL STEP 2.

Installation and Replacement Steps

1. STEP 1: Mount the System Bracket

   Select an installation location, typically under the sink. Use the pre-drilled holes in the white bracket (A) to mark mounting points on the cabinet wall. Drill screws into these marks and securely attach the bracket.

2. STEP 2: Install Filter Cartridges

   Carefully remove the plastic wrap from FILTER 1: TOXYGUARD (C) and insert it into the left-side Housing labeled FILTER 1. Twist the housing securely closed by hand. Repeat this procedure for FILTER 2: ALKAGUARD (D) in the middle FILTER 2 HOUSING and FILTER 3: BIOCHEMGUARD (E) in the right-side FILTER 3 HOUSING. Ensure each filter is placed into its correct, designated housing.

3. STEP 3: Isolate Cold Water Supply

   Turn your main faucet on to the 100% cold setting. Then, shut off the cold-water flow by turning the corresponding water valve clockwise. This valve must remain closed throughout the installation process.

4. STEP 4: Install Angle Stop Valve

   Using an adjustable wrench, disconnect the existing faucet line from the cold-water valve. Place a container under the valve to catch any residual water. Install the Angle Stop Water Flow Valve (F) between the cold water line and the faucet inlet, redirecting water flow to the Sentry Wellness System.

5. STEP 5: Connect Inlet Tubing

   Take the provided 1/4" cold water-to-inlet connection tubing (H). Insert one end firmly into the Angle Stop Water Flow Valve (F) until it is fully seated. Connect the other end to the Inlet Head (FILTER 1 Housing Lid) until it bottoms out. Gently tug on the tubing to confirm a secure connection.

6. STEP 6: Mount the Dedicated Faucet

   Follow the manufacturer's instructions included with your faucet (G) for its proper mounting.

7. STEP 7: Connect Outlet Tubing and Mount System

   Measure and cut the 1/4" outlet-to-faucet tubing (I) to the required length. Insert one end into the dedicated faucet (G) until it bottoms out. Connect the other end to the Outlet Head (FILTER 3 Housing Lid) until it bottoms out. Tug to ensure a tight fit. Finally, place the assembled system onto the bracket screws previously installed in Step 1.

8. STEP 8: Restore Water Flow and Leak Check

   Turn the cold water valve counter-clockwise to restore water flow (ON). Carefully inspect all fitting locations and housing gasket seals for any signs of leaks. If leaks are found, re-seat the tubing, apply additional sealant tape to threads if necessary, or re-tighten/re-install housings as per Step 2. It is advisable to perform leak checks immediately after restoration and again after the first use. Continuous monitoring for one week is recommended.

9. STEP 9: Purge Filtration Media Dust

   Allow the cold water to run through the system for 5-10 minutes. This process purges any excess filtration media dust. If the water appears cloudy or has an unusual taste, continue flushing for an additional 5 minutes or until the water runs clear. Note that reduced water pressure may occur for up to one week as the system fully normalizes.

10. STEP 10: Annual Filter Replacement and Support
