Print Head Issues
Print Head Failure
If printed paper exhibits a fixed vertical white line, the print head may be dirty or damaged. Clean the print head first. If the problem persists, replacement of the print head is necessary.
Cleaning the Print Head
- Turn off the printer, open the paper compartment, and remove the paper roll.
- Gently wipe the print head with a cloth or cotton swab lightly dampened with medical alcohol.
- After cleaning, wait 1-2 minutes to ensure the alcohol has completely evaporated before using the printer.
Caution: Avoid touching the print head directly to prevent damage. Especially immediately after printing, allow the print head to cool down to avoid burns from overheating.
Poor Print Quality
If the print quality is unsatisfactory, try the following steps:
- Clean the print head (refer to the previous cleaning method).
- The label paper may be of inferior quality; try replacing it with a different type.
