Temperature transducer from Pt1000 sensor to 0-10V
Product Description
The P4211 transducer is designed for temperature measurement at °C or °F by means of an external temperature probe with Pt1000 sensor.
The device settings can be changed using a PC connected via the optional SP003 communication cable (not included in delivery). The TSensor software (free to download from www.cometsystem.com) allows changing the output temperature range, temperature unit choice (°C or °F), output voltage range, and performing adjustments.

Device Installation
Devices are designed for wall mounting. There are two mounting holes at the sides of the case. The working position is arbitrary.
The connecting terminals are accessible after unscrewing the four screws in the corners of the case and removing the lid. Pass the connecting cable through the released upper gland and connect the wires to the terminals. For device connection, it is recommended to use a shielded cable with a maximum length of 15 m and an external diameter of 4 to 8 mm. The external temperature probe should be of "shielded two-wire" type. Connect the probe cable shielding to the proper terminal only and do not connect it to any other circuitry or ground it. Maximum probe cable length is 10 m. Finally, tighten the glands and screw the lid, checking the integrity of the seal.

Operation and Maintenance
Devices do not require special operation and maintenance. It is recommended to verify the accuracy of measurement.
WARNING
- The devices are not designed for locations with chemically aggressive environments.
- Do not connect the transmitter while the power supply voltage is on.
- Cables should be located as far as possible from potential interference sources.
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance may only be carried out by personnel qualified according to applicable regulations and standards.
Procedure of Device Adjustment
To modify device settings:
- Install the TSensor configuration program on the PC (ensure correct installation of drivers for the USB communication cable).
- Connect the SP003 communication cable to a USB port on the PC. The installed USB driver will detect the connected cable and create a virtual COM port.
- Unscrew the four screws and remove the lid. If the device is already installed in the measuring system, disconnect the wires from the terminals first.
- Connect the SP003 communication cable to the device.
- Run the installed TSensor program and follow its instructions.
- After saving and finishing new settings, disconnect the cable from the device, reconnect the wires to their terminals, and place the lid back onto the device.

Error States of the Device
The error status of the transducer is indicated by the output voltage value. A voltage value less than -0.1 V indicates low resistance of the temperature sensor (short circuit) or a serious error (contact the device distributor). A voltage value around 10.5 V indicates high, non-measurable resistance of the temperature sensor (opened circuit).
Dimensions
The device has a width of 89 mm, a depth of 40 mm, and a height of 117 mm. The mounting holes have a diameter of Ø 4.3 mm. The overall depth including connectors is 73 mm.
