Operating Instructions
Before Putting Your Appliance Into Use
- Remove all inner and outer packaging components, including adhesive transport tapes.
- Verify that none of the following are missing: Removable Shelves, Operating Manual.
- Allow the appliance to stand upright for a minimum of 2 hours before connecting it to a power supply. This minimises the risk of refrigeration system malfunction due to transport & handling.
- Clean the inner surfaces of the unit with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Avoid using any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Place the unit on a stable surface that can withstand its weight, making sure to adjust the front feet for stability. Ensure the surface is firm, flat, and level to reduce noise and vibration. Tighten the adjustable legs to the floor and tilt the appliance slightly backward to ensure the door closes tightly.
- Install the appliance away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent damage to the coating and reduce power consumption. Extreme temperatures can affect proper operation.
- Maintain a minimum of 3-5cm clearance at the top of the appliance, and a 3-5cm clearance on each side of the appliance for proper ventilation and heat dissipation.
- Do not install the unit in unheated buildings, outbuildings, or garages.
- This unit is for indoor use only.
- Before connecting the unit to the power supply.
Caution:
Keep the unit away from any substances that may cause combustion.Setting the Temperature Control
Position [ OFF ] means that the appliance is in the switched-off state. Turn the temperature control clockwise from this position, the appliance switches on automatically.
The power levels control the different values of the internal temperature.
Power Level | Description |
---|---|
MIN | Lowest level, warmest internal temperature. |
MID | Medium level, optimal operating temperature. |
MAX | Highest level, coldest internal temperature. |
The temperature changes depending on the ambient temperature of the room, the frequency of opening the door and the equipment.
For initial operation, first set the lowest possible internal temperature (=highest power level) until the appliance has reached the desired operating temperature. It is recommended to reset to a medium power level afterwards, then you can easily make any temperature correction.
For optimised food storage and to avoid food waste, a medium power level is generally best. A high power level also increases energy consumption.
Note:
Beware of high settings: the compressor is running continuously.Note:
If the unit is unplugged or turned off, wait for 3 to 5 minutes before restarting to avoid malfunctioning.Door Reversal
- Use a flathead screwdriver to gently prise up and slide forward the top hinge cover on the right side, removing it.
- Utilise a battery drill with a 'Phillips head' to unscrew the three screws securing the top hinge, then lift off the hinge and set it aside.
- Carefully lift the door straight upwards and place it to one side.
- Lay the fridge on its back to access the three screws holding the bottom hinge. Remove these screws with the battery drill.
- Attach the bottom hinge to the opposite side, using the same hole pattern as before.
- Place the door back onto the bottom hinge pin.
- Before re-fitting the top hinge on the fridge's top, remove the blanking plate.
- Ensure the door is level and straight, then use the battery drill to securely tighten the screws back into place.
- Return the fridge to an upright position and wait 2-3 hours before switching it back on.
Moving & Handling Your Appliance
How to Safely Disconnect Your Fridge
- Take note of the position of each accessory when packing the appliance.
- When re-packing for transportation, ensure everything is securely packed and accessories are securely in place.
- Avoid lifting or pulling the door or handle during transport to prevent damage.
- Allow a minimum of 2 hours standing time before reconnecting the appliance to power.

Contamination Prevention Guidelines
To prevent food contamination and ensure safe usage of your appliance, follow these guidelines:
- Avoid prolonged door openings to prevent a significant increase in internal temperature, which can lead to food spoilage.
- Regularly clean surfaces that come in contact with food, such as shelves, drawers, and door seals, using a mild detergent and warm water.
- Ensure accessible drains are also kept clean to prevent the build-up of dirt and bacteria.
If the appliance will be unused for an extended period, take the following steps:
- Switch off the fridge.
- Defrost the appliance if necessary (refer to page 7).
- Clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
- Leave the door open slightly to allow air circulation and prevent the growth of mold and mildew.
- Refrain from storing explosive substances, such as aerosol cans with flammable propellants, in the appliance to avoid potential hazards.
- In the event of a damaged power cable, only a local qualified electrician or retailer should carry out replacement to mitigate potential safety hazards.
