Aditec MS 120 / MS 220 Freely Programmable Control Units
For cooking, smoking, climate, ripening, and intensive cooling systems
Overview
The MS 120 / MS 220 control units are designed for use in cooking and smoking installations, as well as in climate-controlled ripening and freezing units. They can also be used for defrosting or freezing control. The units can be installed in control cabinets or on rails.
The freely programmable controller (SPS/PLC) MS120 or MS220 is used in conjunction with the aditec TP720 / TP1020 touch panel.
In its standard configuration, the control unit features 4 inputs for PT100 temperature measurement and 2 inputs switchable between PT100 and 0-20mA/0-10V or thermocouples (according to DIN EN 60584). For PT100 sensors, both two-wire and three-wire connections are possible. Three-wire connections offer automatic compensation, while two-wire connections allow for digital compensation.
The MS 120 unit has 24 transistor outputs (24V DC) for controlling relays, while the MS 220 unit has 18 relay outputs that are free from potential (14 normally open and 4 changeover). Both control units are equipped with 2 analog inputs (switchable between 0...20 mA and 0...10 V). The controllers have 12 digital inputs.
For communication, the units offer LAN/Ethernet and USB Serial Port interfaces. Firmware updates are performed via the USB port. The MS 120 controller can be expanded up to 120 transistor outputs, and the MS 220 up to 72 relay outputs. Additional modules can add up to 48 digital inputs and various analog inputs and outputs.
Each control loop can be configured as a two-position (two-level) controller, an XP controller, or a PID controller. The assignment of units to relays is entirely arbitrary. All relays can be assigned to 48 processes with different control and timing schemes. The 48 processes are freely programmable.
Codesys: The Codesys option allows for configuration expansion with PLC functionality.
The "aditec VisuNet" software enables connection to a computer for monitoring, visualization, and logging of all processes and treatments, ensuring comprehensive quality control according to HACCP and IFS (ISO 9000) standards.
The aditec control remote control allows for monitoring and operation of the VisuNet program from any location (internet) and direct influence on the installation.
