- Mount the rear brake. For 160 mm discs, use the indicated adapters: Shimano 160 mm Flat Mount R160D/D (+20 mm), SRAM 160 mm 00.2318.018.001.
- Note: Screw type and torque according to brake manufacturer specifications. Screw length is the same for 140 mm and 160 mm discs.
Fork Brake Cable Installation
- Mount the cable guide on the fork and route the front brake hose through it, exiting at the steerer tube opening. Mount the front brake caliper using the corresponding adapter and screws, and lightly grease the fork brake mount surfaces. Apply threadlocker to the brake screws.
- Grease and install the lower headset bearing. Secure the brake hose to the fork steerer tube with tape, ensuring it passes through the steerer tube from the drive side to the opposite side.
- Route the rear derailleur cable through the frame from the bottom of the chainstay to the head tube. Ensure the foam anti-noise sleeve is correctly positioned and does NOT touch the fork steerer tube.
- Route the front derailleur cable from the top of the head tube, exiting at the base of the seat tube. Ensure the foam anti-noise sleeve is correctly positioned and does NOT touch the fork steerer tube.
- Grease and install the upper headset bearing, bearing spacer, and compression ring.
- Mount the fork.
- Route the front brake hose through the upper headset, ensuring all cables are in the correct position.
- Mount the head tube cover and spacers.
- Mount the stem faceplate with only two turns of the hex key.
- Carefully route the cables and hoses between the stem faceplate and the handlebar.
- Mount the stem to the fork and gently push the cables inside by a couple of centimeters.
- Route the cables through the handlebar, starting with the brake hoses. Mount the stem faceplate.
- After connecting the cables to the levers, push the remaining cable inside the head tube and tighten the stem faceplate.
- Mount the front derailleur using the aluminum adapter. Tighten to the indicated torque.
- Mount the rear derailleur.
Shimano Di2 Cable Installation
- Insert the Di2 battery into the rubber sleeve and slide it into the seat tube as shown.
- For short seat tubes and shorter riders, fix the rubber sleeve to the top of the battery with a cable tie and position it as shown.
- Fix the front derailleur plate and then the derailleur. Route the Di2 cable through the rubber sleeve inside the seat tube.
- Ensure the cable is routed inside the protective tube, exiting from the top of the seat tube.
- Fix the cable to the rear derailleur as shown.
- Fix the Di2 cable to the front derailleur and route it inside the seat tube. Flip the bike upside down to facilitate this.
- Ensure the cable is routed inside the protective tube, exiting from the top of the seat tube.

- Step 1: Insert the container into the frame, holding it vertically against the down tube. Position points B at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock.
- Step 2: Rotate the container 90° counter-clockwise. Points A should face downwards.
- Ensure the cables are higher than points B.
- Gently push the container into the down tube, keeping the cables above. If necessary, slightly squeeze the container to fit correctly.

Manufacturer Warranty
By purchasing a new SCOTT bicycle from an authorized SCOTT dealer, SCOTT grants a manufacturer's warranty subject to the following provisions.
Conditions
The manufacturer's warranty is granted only to the first purchaser of a SCOTT bicycle, who purchased it from an authorized SCOTT dealer. The manufacturer's warranty only applies if the bicycle is registered in the name of the first purchaser at www.scott-sports.com within one year of purchase.
Duration
The manufacturer's warranty is granted from the date of purchase for a period of five years on frames and rear stays. The warranty period is reduced to three years if the SCOTT bicycle is not serviced at least once a year by an authorized SCOTT dealer. Maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance instructions contained in the SCOTT manual and must be confirmed by the stamp and signature of the authorized SCOTT dealer. For frames and rear stays of Category 5 bicycle models and for rigid forks manufactured by SCOTT, the duration of the manufacturer's warranty is limited to two years. If a defective component of the SCOTT bicycle is replaced under statutory or manufacturer's warranty, the duration of the manufacturer's warranty will not be extended. The manufacturer's warranty terminates if the first purchaser transfers ownership of the SCOTT bicycle to a third party.
Claim
The manufacturer's warranty is provided by SCOTT Sports SA, Route du Crochet 11, 1762 Givisiez, Switzerland. The purchaser must inspect the SCOTT bicycle immediately after purchase and promptly inform their authorized SCOTT dealer in writing of any obvious defects. Hidden defects must be reported immediately upon discovery. In the event of a warranty claim, the SCOTT bicycle must be delivered to an authorized SCOTT dealer. The latter will contact SCOTT to remedy the defect. The assertion of a warranty claim always requires the presentation of the original proof of purchase, as well as proof of maintenance service contained in the SCOTT manual.
SCOTT's Performance in Case of Warranty Claim
In the event of a warranty claim, SCOTT, at its discretion, will repair the defect or replace the defective product with a product of similar quality, whereby deviations in color and model are possible. If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund of the purchase price will be made, taking into account previous use. SCOTT reserves the right to assign the task of correcting the defect to a third party.
Limitations
The manufacturer's warranty applies exclusively to frames, rear stays, and rigid forks of SCOTT bicycles. Bicycle components are excluded from this manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, damage caused by accidents or other excessive force exerted on the SCOTT bicycle, corrosion, improper maintenance, incorrect assembly, and the installation of unsuitable components or accessories, as well as to aesthetic defects, such as paintwork. The manufacturer's warranty does not apply to SCOTT bicycles that have been used in a rental shop.
Miscellaneous
These manufacturer's warranty provisions apply to all SCOTT bicycles from model year 2023 onwards. The purchaser's statutory warranty rights and the warranties of the component manufacturers (Shimano, SRAM, etc.) remain unaffected by this manufacturer's warranty. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes relating to this manufacturer's warranty is Fribourg, Switzerland. This manufacturer's warranty is subject to Swiss law, excluding all laws relating to the law of other countries.
