Before You Begin
Safety Precautions Warnings
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including:
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Do not point the hose, the tube or any other accessory at the eyes or ears, nor put it in your mouth. Do not use on pets.
Precautionary Measures
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Never use the vacuum cleaner without filter inserts. This could damage the motor and shorten the life of the product.
- Only use this product for its intended use.
- To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well.
- Take extra care when working on stairs.
- Lay out the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping is possible. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the product.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
- Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord around the product.
- Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use, before any maintenance, and before cleaning.
- Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and loose cloth.
Intended Use
- This product is only intended for vacuuming of dust, lint, and dirt on soft and hard surfaces.
- Do not use the product for vacuuming ashes, large objects, sharp objects (e.g., glass), or to suck up liquids or flammable substances.
- This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
- This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and retain for future use.
- Check for transport damages.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
- Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Assembly
IMPORTANT! Always ensure that the cleaner is turned off before fitting or removing accessories.
Step 1:
Insert the flexible hose (17) into the hose intake (1). It should snap into place.
Step 2:
Insert the narrow end of the flexible hose (11) into the extension tube (14). It should snap into place.
Step 3:
Press the tube release switch (12) and extend the length of the extension tube (14).
Step 4:
Connect the other end of the extension tube (14) to the hard floor brush (16) (or other accessory (19/21)).
Instructions For Use
Connecting to an electrical outlet:
- Pull out the power cord (9).
- Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet.
- Do not extend the power cord further than the red mark on the cord.
Turning on/off:
- To turn on, press the on/off button (6).
- To turn off, press the on/off button (6) again.
- After use, unplug the power plug and press the cable winder switch (10) to rewind the power cable (9).
Increase/decrease suction power by pressing the power suction control of the flexible hose handle (11).
Guide the power cord with the other hand to ensure that the cord does not whip and cause damage.
Maintenance
IMPORTANT! Always ensure that the cleaner is turned off before performing any maintenance. During cleaning, do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
Emptying the dust container (2):
- Lift the dust container handle (5) and remove the dust container (2).
- Hold the dust container (2) above a rubbish bin.
- Press the release button to open the dust container (2) and empty it.
- After emptying, close the lid.
- Place the dust container (2) back into its original position. It should snap into place.
Emptying the dust container (7):
- Remove the air outlet grid by pushing the grid lock to the left.
- Remove the old HEPA filter (7) by pushing down the lock on the top of the filter.
- Install a new HEPA filter and the air outlet grid in a reverse order.
It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter once a year for optimal performance.
Cleaning the pre filter kit (4):
- Pull up the lid release button (3) to open the top lid of the dust container (2).
- Take out the pre filter kit (4) and the foam inlay. Rinse them under running water.
- Clean the dust container (2) and the two cylinders with a damp cloth.
- Allow the pre filter kit (4) and the foam inlay to dry completely before reinstalling into the dust container (2).
Replace the pre filter kit (4) if it can no longer be cleaned properly or if it is damaged.
General cleaning advice:
- To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Dry the product after cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
- Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging.
- Avoid any vibrations and shocks.

Problems and Solutions

| Motor does not start | Connect to a suitable power supply. Check if it is powered. |
| Weak suction power | Clear the flexible hose and the accessories of any obstructions. Close both power suction controls. Remove and clean the filters. Empty the dust bag. |
| Motor is abnormally noisy | Clear the flexible hose and the accessories of any obstructions. If above does not help, turn the product off and contact customer service. |

Conditions of warranty
Your Akitas Cleaner Warranty
In the case of domestic use, your Akitas cleaner comes with a ONE-YEAR parts and labor warranty against product defects and failures when used in accordance with this warranty statement.
- This warranty starts from the original date of purchase and is non-transferable.
- Please retain your original proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
- This warranty is valid ONLY in the country where the cleaner was purchased.
What Akitas Will Do
Akitas will, at its option, repair or replace a defective vacuum or vacuum part covered by this warranty. Repairs may be performed using new or refurbished parts that meet or exceed Akitas' specifications for new parts. The replaced parts will become the property of Akitas.
If Akitas decides to repair or replace the cleaner, it will do so at its own cost. However:
- If proof of purchase cannot be provided at the time of a warranty claim, any work carried out will be chargeable.
- Any transportation costs related to the repair of defective parts must be borne by the claimant.
- The repair or replacement of the cleaner under this warranty does not extend the original period of warranty.
Chelsea Company Limited ("Akitas") reserves the right to final interpretation of the repair.
What is Covered
Your Akitas warranty covers:
- The repair or replacement of your Akitas appliance if found defective due to faulty materials, workmanship, or function within 1 year of purchase or delivery.
- If a part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Akitas will replace it with a functional replacement part.
- This warranty is valid ONLY if the appliance is used in the country in which it was sold.
What is Not Covered
Under your Akitas warranty, the following are not covered:
- Accidental damage, negligent use, misuse, neglect, or careless handling not in accordance with the Akitas Operating Manual.
- Non-domestic use or use outside the country of purchase.
- Improper assembly or installation of parts not following Akitas instructions.
- Use of unauthorized parts or accessories not produced or recommended by Akitas.
- Repairs or alterations performed by unauthorized third parties.
- External damage caused by transit, weather, electrical outages, or power surges.
- Blockages that cause motor damage.
- Normal wear and tear, such as fuses or brush bars.
- Use on rubble, ash, or plaster.
- Reduction in battery discharge time due to age or usage (for cordless machines only).
