  • Coaxial cables cannot be used.
  • 2-pair twisted pair cables cannot be used.
  • Diagram shows examples of acceptable (parallel cable) and unacceptable (coaxial cable) wiring.

Connection Methods for Weak Signal Wires:

  • Crimping Sleeve Method:
  • 1. Lay single and stranded wires parallel.
  • 2. Crimp them together, overlapping by more than half the width.
  • 3. Crimp again, overlapping by more than half the width.
  • Diagram shows a crimping sleeve being applied to wires.
  • Soldering Method:
  • 1. Wrap stranded wire around single wire 3 times or more.
  • 2. Bend the tip and solder without burrs.
  • 3. Overlap by more than half the width and wrap 2 or more times.
  • Diagram shows soldering wires together.
  • Use insulation tape to cover after connection.
  • If the connector lead wire is too short, extend it with an intermediate connection. Ensure correct polarity for connectors; incorrect polarity will prevent operation.
  • After wiring, check for breaks or insufficient connections. For intermediate connections of weak signal wires, use soldering or crimping sleeves and insulate with tape. Minimize connection points.

Installation Precautions (取付上のご注意)

Avoid installing the monitor unit in the following locations:

  • Areas exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Areas with low temperatures (e.g., freezers, in front of air conditioners).
  • Areas with high temperatures (e.g., near heating equipment, boilers).
  • Areas exposed to steam, oil smoke, or dust (e.g., near cooking areas or heat sources).
  • Areas exposed to liquids, iron powder, or chemicals.
  • Humid areas (e.g., bathrooms, basements, greenhouses).
  • Areas with sulfurous environments (e.g., hot springs).
  • Coastal areas exposed to direct sea breeze.

Avoid installing the camera unit in the following locations:

  • Areas where the camera's internal sensor may be affected by external light or surroundings.
  • Areas where streetlights or other direct light sources shine directly into the camera at night.
  • Entrances located on rooftops of apartments where the background is predominantly sky.
  • Entrances where the background behind people is very white.
  • Areas exposed to direct sunlight or strong light.
  • Diagrams illustrate problematic installation scenarios: direct light at night, sky background, white background, direct sunlight.
  • In 50Hz areas, strong fluorescent light directly entering the camera may cause flickering. Block the light or use inverter fluorescent lamps.
  • If warm air from indoors flows into the camera unit, condensation may form due to the temperature difference with the outside air. It is recommended to seal any air inlets to prevent warm air from entering.
