Smart Dictionary Pen Introduction

This section introduces the iFLYTEK Smart Dictionary Pen and its key components.

Device Overview

The pen features the following:

• Type-C Charging Port: For charging the device.
• Microphone: Located on the device. Please do not poke with pointed objects.
• Power Button:
  • Short press: Turn the screen on or off.
  • Long press (2 seconds): Power on, power off, or restart the device.
  • Press and hold (more than 16 seconds): Force a restart.
• Main/Recording Button:
  • Short press: Return to the main page.
  • Press and hold: Activate the voice function.
• Scanner: Located at the bottom of the pen. Hold the pen and scan to the right to look up word translations.

Connecting to WiFi

To enable online features, connect your dictionary pen to WiFi.

1. Turn on the dictionary pen and navigate to the "Settings" menu.
2. In the WiFi settings, turn on your WiFi, select your network, and connect.

How to Scan

Follow these steps for effective scanning:

1. Hold the dictionary pen as shown in the illustration. The recommended scanning angle is similar to the image.
2. Align the scanner window with the center of the text you wish to scan.
3. Ensure the scanner window is close to the text. Press the pen tip gently and drag the pen to the right at a steady speed.
4. Move the pen at a constant speed from left to right.
