Device Connection

⚠️ Important: Always check the compatibility list before installation.

Connection to the Indoor Unit

The device connects directly to the Air Conditioner Indoor Unit using the provided cable. Do not use any other cable.

  1. Disconnect the main power from the AC unit.
  2. Open the internal controller board of the AC unit.
  3. Locate the X and Y terminals on the AC unit.
  4. Connect the Yellow and Green cables from the supplied installation cable to the X and Y terminals on the AC unit. Polarity does not matter for these connections.
  5. Connect the black connector from the supplied cable to the A/C Unit connector on the device.

⚠️ Caution: Cutting, shortening, or modifying the cable can cause the device to malfunction.

Connection to the KNX Bus

Connect the device to the KNX TP-1 (EIB) Bus Line.

  1. Disconnect power from the KNX bus.
  2. Connect the device's standard KNX connector (red/black) to the KNX bus, respecting polarity.
  3. Reconnect power to the KNX bus.

Commissioning

Configuration and commissioning require the use of ETS4 or later software. These tasks must be performed by a qualified planner according to the building automation system design.

To configure the device parameters, load the corresponding application program or the Core product database into your ETS program. For detailed information, refer to the application manual available on www.core.com.tr.

Required Commissioning Steps:

  1. Make the electrical connections as described above.
  2. Turn on the bus power supply.
  3. Switch the device operation to programming mode.
  4. Download the physical address and configuration using the ETS program.

Once the download is complete, the device will return to normal operation mode and is ready for use.

Installation, electrical connection, configuration, and commissioning of this device must only be carried out by qualified personnel, adhering to applicable technical standards and national laws.

  • Electrical connections should only be performed by qualified personnel. Incorrect installation may lead to electric shock or fire. Ensure power is turned off before making connections.
  • Do not connect the main voltage (230V AC) to the digital input or KNX connector of the device.
  • Opening the device housing will immediately void the warranty.

Tampering with the device may compromise its compliance with essential requirements of applicable directives for which it has been certified.
