Set up your Ring Bridge

The Ring Bridge is essential for connecting your Ring Smart Lights to the Ring app and other Ring devices. For detailed setup instructions, please refer to the Ring app or the Bridge user manual.

Remove the front cover.

Locate the tabs on the sides of the Motion Sensor. Pull these tabs outward simultaneously to detach and remove the front cover.

Insert the batteries.

Open the battery compartment. Insert three AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the flat ends of the batteries align with the springs inside the compartment.

Set up your Motion Sensor in the Ring app.

Open the Ring app on your smartphone or tablet. Tap "Set Up a Device". When prompted, select "Smart Lights" from the list of device types and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Once setup is confirmed, reattach the front cover of your Motion Sensor.

Remove the base.

To detach the mounting base, slide it downwards away from the Motion Sensor. [Diagram Description: An arrow indicates sliding the base down.]

For installation on masonry surfaces (e.g., brick or concrete), use the detached base as a template. Mark the desired screw locations on the wall, drill pilot holes, and insert appropriate anchors before proceeding.

Drive the screws.

Position the mounting base firmly against the chosen surface. Use a screwdriver to drive the two provided mounting screws through the base into the wall or anchor. [Diagram Description: Screws are being driven into the base attached to a wall.]

Attach the Motion Sensor.

Align the Motion Sensor with the mounted base and slide it back into place until you hear or feel it click securely. [Diagram Description: The Motion Sensor is being slid onto the base.]

? For optimal performance, mount your Motion Sensor at a height of 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
