Completeness Check of the Product

Before installing the monitor, verify that it is complete and all components are available.

The Monitor Kit Includes:

  • Monitor: 1 pc
  • Wall mounting bracket: 1 pc
  • Manual: 1 pc
  • Set of wires with connectors for connection of alarm loops, doorbell and home automation: 1 pc
  • Resistors for alarm loops: 8 pcs
  • Installation screws: 2 pcs

Electrical Connection

After verifying the device's completeness, proceed with the monitor connection.

To Connect Monitor You Will Need:

  • An Ethernet UTP CAT5 or higher cable connected to a PoE switch or to a normal switch/router.
  • Power supply at +12 Volts DC if PoE is not available.
  • Wires for the connection of alarm loops and home automation (optional).

Cable Length Recommendations: The maximum length of the UTP CAT5 cable segment should not exceed 100 meters, according to the IEEE 802.3 standard.

Wiring Diagrams

Power Supply and External Load Diagram

This diagram illustrates the power connections. A 12V, 2A power supply connects to a central unit. This unit provides connections for +12V, GND, RS485 (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4 with specific functions like +12V, GND, 485+, 485-), and a LAN (PoE) port. The LAN port connects to a network switch with PoE capabilities. A "Siren/Alarm Loops" section offers terminals 1-10 (e.g., +Us, GND, AL1-AL8). An external relay (K1, K1.1), controlled by a diode (VD), is shown connected to a power supply for an external load. This configuration is used to control devices or external loads with high current consumption via the siren output.

Button Connection Diagram

This diagram shows how various buttons and modules connect to the alarm loops. It includes an "Expansion module SH-16" connected to +12V, 485+, and 485-. It also depicts different button types: a "Bell button normal", a "Button SH-45", a "Button SH-45T", a "Bell button SH-46T", and a "Universal button SH-47T" (with a lock function). All these buttons are connected to +12V and an alarm loop, enabling them to function as "Call Buttons".

Security Alarm Sensors (NC) Wiring Diagram

This diagram illustrates the wiring for security alarm sensors using Normally Closed (NC) contact types. The system includes a 12V siren (≤0.35A). The central unit's alarm loop outputs (AL1-AL8) are connected to series of sensors (e.g., 1.1, 1.2, 1.n) along with 2.2 kOhm resistors for each sensor group. The diagram shows connections for up to 8 alarm loops, each potentially supporting multiple sensors.

Security Alarm Sensors (NO) Wiring Diagram

This diagram illustrates the wiring for security alarm sensors using Normally Open (NO) contact types. Similar to the NC diagram, it features a 12V siren (≤0.35A) and connects alarm loop outputs (AL1-AL8) to sensor groups (e.g., 1.1, 1.2, 1.n) and 2.2 kOhm resistors. The setup supports up to 8 alarm loops, each capable of handling multiple sensors.

Appearance and Mechanical Mounting

Before installing the monitor, drill a hole in the wall to fit the standard mounting box. The monitor bracket mounting dimensions require 60 mm between the two mounting screws. The standard mounting box can be round (65 x 45 mm) or quadrant (86 x 86 x 45 mm). The mounting box is necessary for wiring and securing the bracket. The installation hole should be made at a height of 150-160 cm from the floor. Attach the bracket in the outlet box using set screws and a Phillips head screwdriver. Install the monitor onto the bracket from top to bottom.

Vertical Mounting

The device dimensions are 195 mm (height) x 127 mm (width) x 27 mm (depth). Mounting involves a surface bracket with screw holes at 90° and fasteners, or a niche installation. The recommended niche height is 150-160 cm from the floor. Fixation is achieved by setting the monitor at an angle and twisting it until it clicks.

Horizontal Mounting

The device dimensions are 195 mm (width) x 127 mm (height) x 27 mm (depth). Mounting options include a surface bracket or a niche installation, both requiring a height of 150-160 cm from the floor. Fixation is done by setting the monitor at an angle and twisting it until it clicks.
