Installation Steps

Follow these steps for the proper installation of your BLANCO SILGRANIT® sink.

Step 1: Measure and cut the countertop according to the specified cutout dimensions. Ensure precise measurements.

Step 2: Place the sink into the prepared countertop cutout.

Step 3: Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside edge of the sink rim for a watertight seal.

Step 4: Secure the sink from underneath using the provided mounting clips. Position clips evenly around the sink perimeter.

Step 5: Tighten the mounting clips securely using a suitable tool (e.g., PZ 2 screwdriver).

Step 6: Check the sink for stability and ensure it is firmly seated in the countertop.

Step 7: Note on material resistance: SILGRANIT® material can withstand temperatures up to max. 280°C (536°F).

Step 8: For cleaning and maintenance, use BLANCO ACTIV cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents.

Step 9: Required tool: PZ 2 screwdriver.

Step 10: Recommended accessory: Silicone sealant for installation.

Step 11: Recommended accessory: Cleaning sponge.

Step 12: Recommended accessory: Cleaning cloth.

Step 13: Recommended accessory: BLANCO ACTIV cleaner.

Step 14: Safety warning: Always follow safety precautions during installation. [Warning symbol ⚠️]

Step 15: Safety precaution: Wear protective gloves when handling materials. [Glove symbol ?]

Step 16: Ensure proper ventilation during installation.

Step 17: Allow sealant to cure for at least 2 hours before use.

Step 18: Recommended water temperature for cleaning: approx. 60°C (140°F).

Step 19: Hole diameter for faucet installation: Ø 35 mm.

Step 20: Ensure cutout dimensions (A, B) have tolerances of +2 mm / -1 mm.

Step 21: Use PH 2 screwdriver for some mounting components.

Step 22: Ensure the sink is level (check dimensions A, B, C and tolerances).

Step 23: Secure the sink using clips and screws.

Step 24: Maximum drill hole diameter: Ø 10 mm.
