Network Usage Environment
- The MetaBox Pro requires an Internet connection to function.
- It is recommended to connect the MetaBox Pro to a first-level router for faster network response speeds.
- Ensure the router's "UPNP" option is set to "ON".

Installing the Hard Disk
Follow these steps to install a hard disk:
- Gently remove the face cover from the bottom.
- Push the slip buckle to the left to pop out the hard disk tray handle.
- Grab the handle and pull out the tray.
- Install the 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD/SSD and secure it with screws.
- Insert the hard disk tray back into the MetaBox Pro.
- Align and attach the face cover to complete the installation.
Device Connection, Startup, and Shutdown
Device Connection
- Connect one end of the standard network cable to the MetaBox Pro's network port and the other end to the router's LAN port.
- Connect one end of the power adapter to the MetaBox Pro's power port and the other end to the power socket.
- After connecting power, press the power switch to turn on the device.
Device Startup and Shutdown
- Power On: By default, the device turns on automatically when power is applied. A short press of the power button initiates startup after a "di" sound.
- Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until a "beep" sound indicates shutdown.
- Remote Shutdown: Shutdown can also be performed via the client Weline APP.

Client Download and Installation
Mobile Client
Scan the QR codes to download the "Weline" APP. iOS users can also search for "Weline.io" in the Apple App Store.

User Registration and Login
Register User
- Open and run the "Weline" APP on your mobile phone.
- For first-time use, click "No account, click Register" and complete the registration process as required.
User Login
- After registration, return to the login window.
- Enter your registered account and password, agree to the user agreement and privacy policy, then click "Login" to access the "Resources" homepage.
Device Binding
- Navigate to "Resources" > "Network" from the navigation bar to access your bound MetaBox Pro device.
- Click the "⊕" symbol in the upper right corner, then select "Scan" to scan the MetaBox Pro device's QR code.
- After successful scanning, click "OK" to bind the device.
Owner/Administrator Binding
- The first user to bind the device becomes the owner. A device can only have one owner.
Invited Users to Join
- Invited users must scan the invitation QR code shared by the owner/administrator.
- The sharing code has a time limit.
- Invited users require confirmation from the owner/administrator after scanning the QR code.
Device Unbinding
Owner Unbind
Owner unbinding removes all data for the owner and invited users, making the device unusable for all.
Invited Users Unbind
Unbinding as an invited user only removes personal data for that user; other users' data remains unaffected.
- Back up data in the ORICO MetaBox Pro before unbinding.
- Data cleared due to unbinding cannot be recovered. Operate with caution.
File Management
Enter File Management
- From the navigation bar, select "Resources" > "Network" to access the bound MetaBox Pro device.
- Click on the device node to enter the "Node Details" file management window, where you can perform various functions.
Device Reset Instructions
To reset the device, long-press the "Reset" button on the back of the device for 10 seconds. This will reset network settings but will not affect stored data. Operate with caution.
Safety Notice
- Do not hit, throw, puncture, drop, squeeze, or bend the product.
- Avoid using or storing the product in humid environments or exposing it to liquids.
- Do not use the product in hot, dusty environments or near fire sources.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
- Do not place the product in corrosive environments or use chemical solutions for cleaning.
- Keep the product away from strong electromagnetic fields and magnetic equipment.
- Keep the product and accessories away from children. Do not allow unsupervised use by children.
- Use only the power adapter specified by ORICO.
- Do not disassemble or repair the product or accessories without ORICO authorization.
- Contact your dealer or ORICO Customer Service Center for any questions.
