Part 1. Warning
The timer has no internal battery. Please plug it into a live outlet to set it. To avoid electric shock or injury, please read the "Safety Information" carefully before using the timer.
Safety Information
- For optimum performance of waterproof, please install the timer vertically and at least 2 ft above the ground.
- DO NOT overload wall outlets, extension cords, or power strips as this can cause danger.
- The total power of the appliances connected to the timer must NOT exceed the maximum rating of the timer.
- DO NOT allow children to operate this timer and keep children away from it.
- DO NOT disassemble or repair the product under any circumstance.
Part 2. Product Overview
01 LCD Display: Shows current time, settings, and function status.
02 Power Indicator Light: LED is on when there is power, off when no power.
03 LIGHT SENSOR: For best performance, ensure the light sensor is not covered or shielded.
04 RUN TIME: Short press to set the ON time. Pressing it 3 times consecutively sets the timer to always ON.
05 OFF TIME: Short press to set the OFF time. Pressing it 3 times consecutively sets the timer to always OFF.
06 CYCLE/REPEAT: During time setting, moves the cursor left to right. During interval cycle mode, short press reviews the set ON and OFF times.
07 ▲ / S/M/H: During time setting, press to increase the number or move the cursor up to select seconds (S), minutes (M), or hours (H).
08 ▼ / S/M/H: During time setting, press to decrease the number or move the cursor down to select seconds (S), minutes (M), or hours (H).
09 CONFIRM: Press to confirm the run time and off time to start the interval cycle mode.
Use of Key Combinations
- ▲ + ▼: During time setting, press both buttons together to clear the current setting, or press again to recover the previous setting.
- ▼ + CONFIRM: Press both buttons together to switch between 24-hour mode (default), DAY ONLY mode, and NIGHT ONLY mode.
- ▲ + CONFIRM: Press both buttons together to lock or unlock the buttons. A lock symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen when buttons are locked.
- ▲ + CONFIRM (with buzzer): Press both buttons together to deactivate or activate the buzzer for button presses. A horn symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen when the buzzer is activated.
Part 3. Functions and Settings
The timer offers 9 functions. Only one function can be used at a time. Refer to the instructions below to set your timer according to your needs.
Function-1. Infinite Interval Cycle
e.g., 10 minutes ON and 1 hour OFF, repeating continuously.
Steps:
- Plug the timer into a live outlet and press the RUN TIME button to begin setting the ON time.
- Press CYCLE/REPEAT to move the cursor left to right, and press ▲/▼ to adjust the digits and select the unit of time (S/M/H).
- When the ON time is set, press CONFIRM or OFF TIME to begin setting the OFF time.
- Press CYCLE/REPEAT to move the cursor left to right, and press ▲/▼ to adjust the digits and select the unit of time (S/M/H).
- When both ON and OFF times are set, press CONFIRM to activate the timing program.
Function-2. Interval Cycle Only in the Day Time (Cycle from Dawn to Dusk)
e.g., timer comes on every day at dawn, repeats the cycle "10 minutes ON and 1 hour OFF", goes off at dusk, and remains completely OFF until dawn the next day.
Set the "10 minutes ON and 1 hour OFF" infinite interval cycle following the instructions for Function-1. Remember to press CONFIRM to activate the setting. Then, press ▼ + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor setting to DAY ONLY. The timer will repeat the interval cycle only when there is light (screen displays as FIGURE 1), and it will go off and remain off when there is no light (screen displays as FIGURE 2).
*PLEASE NOTE:
- The light sensor has a 12-minute anti-interference delay. For example, if the timer is in DAY ONLY mode and repeating the interval cycle (screen displays FIGURE 1), covering the light sensor will cause the timer to continue for about 12 minutes before judging it is night and stopping (screen displays FIGURE 2).
- To test the light sensor sensitivity: unplug the timer, cover or expose the sensor to light, then plug it back in.
Function-3. Interval Cycle Only at Night (Cycle from Dusk to Dawn)
e.g., timer comes on every day at dusk, repeats the cycle "10 minutes ON and 1 hour OFF", goes off at dawn the next day, and remains completely OFF until dusk.
Set the "10 minutes ON and 1 hour OFF" infinite interval cycle following the instructions for Function-1. Remember to press CONFIRM to activate the setting. Then, press ▲ + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor setting to NIGHT ONLY. The timer will repeat the interval cycle only when there is no light (screen displays as FIGURE 1), and it will go off and remain off when there is light (screen displays as FIGURE 2).
*PLEASE NOTE:
- The light sensor has a 12-minute anti-interference delay. For example, if the timer is completely OFF in NIGHT ONLY mode (screen displays FIGURE 2), covering the light sensor will cause the timer to remain off for about 12 minutes before judging it is night and starting the cycle (screen displays FIGURE 1).
- To test the light sensor sensitivity: unplug the timer, cover or expose the sensor to light, then plug it back in.
Function-4. Always OFF
The timer always has no electricity output.
Repeatedly press the OFF TIME button 3 times. The timer will remain always OFF.
Function-5. Always ON
The timer always has electricity output.
Repeatedly press the RUN TIME button 3 times, and then press ▼ + CONFIRM to change the mode to 24-hour mode (no mode is displayed at the bottom of the screen).
Function-6. ON Only in the Day (from Dawn to Dusk)
Every day, the timer comes on at dawn, goes off at dusk, and remains OFF until dawn the next day.
Repeatedly press the RUN TIME button 3 times, and then press ▼ + CONFIRM to change the mode to DAY ONLY (with "DAY ONLY" shown at the bottom of the screen). The timer will turn ON and remain ON when there is light (screen displays FIGURE 1), and go OFF and remain OFF when there is no light (screen displays FIGURE 2).

Repeatedly press the RUN TIME button 3 times, and then press ▼ + CONFIRM to change the mode to NIGHT ONLY (with "NIGHT ONLY" shown at the bottom of the screen). The timer will turn ON and remain ON when there is no light (screen displays FIGURE 1), and go OFF and remain OFF when there is light (screen displays FIGURE 2).

- Refer to Function-1 instructions. Press RUN TIME and use ▲/▼ to set the ON time to 2H.
- Refer to Function-1 instructions. Press OFF TIME, then use ▲/▼ to set the OFF time to 999H, and press the CONFIRM button.
- Press ▼ + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor to DAY ONLY.
The timer will run the 2-hour countdown when there is light (screen displays FIGURE 1). When there is no light, the screen will display as FIGURE 2.
*PLEASE NOTE:
- This is effectively an interval cycle timer from dawn to dusk. The light sensor has a 12-minute anti-interference delay.
- To test the light sensor sensitivity: unplug the timer, cover or expose the sensor to light, then plug it back in.
Function-9. Countdown from Dusk Every Day
e.g., every day timer comes on at dusk and goes off after 2 hours.
- Refer to Function-1 instructions. Press RUN TIME and use ▲/▼ to set the ON time to 2H. Make sure the run time is shorter than the nighttime hours, or it will function "ON from dusk to dawn".
- Refer to Function-1 instructions. Press OFF TIME, then use ▲/▼ to set the OFF time to 999H, and press the CONFIRM button.
- Press ▼ + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor to NIGHT ONLY.
The timer will run the 2-hour countdown when there is no light (screen displays FIGURE 1). When there is light, the screen will display as FIGURE 2.

Other Settings
Review/Change Time
During running of interval cycle, short press CYCLE/REPEAT to review the set ON and OFF times. To change the times, refer to Function-1 instructions for setting digits and press CONFIRM to activate the new program. Press and hold CYCLE/REPEAT for 3 seconds to modify the time interval without disturbing the current working state.
Button Lock
Press CONFIRM + ▲ together to lock or unlock all buttons. A small lock symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen when buttons are locked.
Buzzer for Buttons
Press CONFIRM + ▼ together to deactivate or activate the buzzer for buttons. A small horn symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen when the buzzer is activated.
Clear and Recover
During time setting, press ▲ + ▼ together to clear the time set, or press them again to recover the data.
