Axles & Dropouts

The new Addict Gravel features the same dropout as the Addict RC and the rest of the Addict family. The Hanger comes in standard and DM (Direct Mount) options and includes dropout, threaded axle cap, and fixation bolt.

Seatclamp

The Addict Gravel shares the D-shaped Syncros Duncan Aero SL seatposts and seatclamp from the Addict RC.

Cockpit

The new Addict Gravel features fully integrated cable routing through the stem and headset, with a gravel-specific handlebar from Syncros with 16-degree flare and shorter reach. The Addict Gravel offers two different stem/handlebar options depending on the bike model.

Options include:

• 288087, 288088, 288089, 288090, and Creston IC SL X
• 288123 SYN Stem RR 2.0

The Addict Gravel uses the same headset kit for both Creston iC SL X combo and the RR2.0/RR2.5 stem.

There are two headset spacer kits available: one for the Creston iC SL X combo and one for the RR2.0/RR2.5 stem.

The Stem Cable Cover is size-specific to the RR2.0/2.5 stem.

The Creston iC SL X uses the same Stem cap as Addict RC Creston Handlebars; it is not size-specific.

This kit allows fitting the Addict RC IC CRESTON and RR1.5 Stems and Handlebars to the MY22 Addict Gravel when the correct spacer kit is fitted.

GUARANTEE ON SCOTT BIKES

What is covered?

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship at the time of transfer of risks in frames, swingarms and forks (provided it is a SCOTT fork) on SCOTT branded bikes sold completely assembled by SCOTT or an authorized SCOTT dealer ("Product").

How long does coverage last?

This voluntary manufacturer's warranty is limited to five years for frames and swingarms, respectively two years for forks, from the date of purchase of the Product. It is limited to the first purchaser of the Product and subject to prior registration on www.scott-sports.com within 10 days of purchase.

Transfer of the Product from the first purchaser to another person terminates this limited warranty.

The five-year limited warranty for frames and swingarms requires an annual maintenance service performed by an authorized dealer, confirmed by stamp and signature. If this service is not performed, the warranty for the frame is reduced to three years. Costs for maintenance and service are borne by the owner.

On Gambler, Voltage Fr, and Volt-X models, the warranty period is limited to two years.

Repaired or replaced Products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, subject to the conditions outlined in the original warranty, to the extent permitted by law.

SCOTT grants a worldwide voluntary manufacturer's warranty. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties are limited in duration to a maximum of five (or two for forks) years from the date of purchase, and are limited to the first purchaser.

What will SCOTT do in the event of a guarantee case?

SCOTT will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective product with one of similar quality or nature, repair it, or refund the purchase price (upon presentation of proof of purchase). Non-defective components will be replaced at the customer's expense, with prior contact and agreement.

What does this limited warranty not cover?

This limited warranty does not cover defects that did not exist before the transfer of risks, products used in rental operations, or purchases of not completely assembled bikes.

It also does not cover defects caused by "wear and tear" (refer to the manual for a complete list), accident, neglect, improper handling, color fade due to sunlight, abuse, misuse, acts of God, improper assembly, non-compliance with recommended maintenance procedures, maintenance or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel, use of non-consistent parts or devices, or alteration of the Product.

All Products come with a manual; follow instructions carefully. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this limited warranty, to the extent permitted by law.

How do you make a claim under this limited warranty?

Notify SCOTT of the claimed defect within the warranty period and return the Product to SCOTT at your expense for inspection. Contact your authorized SCOTT dealer, SCOTT's customer service, or the national SCOTT distributor (locator: www.scott-sports.com). All returned Products must include proof of purchase (receipt) from an authorized SCOTT dealer. In case of replacement or refund, the returned Product becomes the property of SCOTT.

A handover protocol, found at the end of the manual, must be kept by the SCOTT dealer and presented with the defective part for warranty claims as proof of purchase.

How do state laws affect your rights under this limited warranty?

This limited warranty grants specific legal rights, and other rights may vary by state.

Recommendation:

It is strongly recommended to use only authorized SCOTT dealers for yearly maintenance services and repairs. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this limited warranty. Costs for maintenance service are borne by the consumer.
