本製品のセットアップ方法

本製品のセットアップ方法は2つあります。該当する方の手順を参照してください。

• 他のWi-Fiルーターから本製品に交換する場合（らくらく引っ越し機能）
• Wi-Fiルーターをはじめて設置する場合

他のWi-Fiルーターから本製品に交換する場合（らくらく引っ越し機能）

「らくらく引っ越し機能」を使って、今まで利用していたルーターからWi-Fi接続情報をコピーできます。パソコンやスマートフォンのWi-Fiの再設定は不要です。

重要: 本製品の電源は入れずに、作業をはじめてください。

Wi-Fiルーターをはじめて設置する場合

本製品の配線や設置をおこない、パソコンやスマートフォンでWi-Fi接続設定をします。その後、インターネット接続設定をおこない初期設定は完了です。

※ Wi-Fiルーターの利用には、インターネット契約が必要です。インターネットの契約が完了しており、サービスが開始されていることを確認してください。

※ ご利用のインターネットサービスによっては、本製品にプロバイダー情報の設定が必要です。インターネット契約時のプロバイダーの書類をお手元にご用意ください。

※ POWER, 2.4GHz, 5GHz lamps blinking rapidly simultaneously indicates the unit is overheating and wireless operation has stopped. In this case, turn off the power, and reposition the unit according to the 'Installation Precautions' in the User's Manual (Web version).

This section explains important precautions for correct and safe use of the product. Please read carefully before use.

Warning: This product is not designed for use in life-critical systems or equipment requiring high reliability and safety (medical, aerospace, transportation, nuclear). Use in such systems may cause accidents or property damage, for which ELECOM is not liable.

• Warning: If you notice unusual smells or smoke, immediately turn off the power and unplug the AC adapter. Continued use may cause electric shock or fire. Stop use and consult your retailer.
• Warning: Do not disassemble the unit. Electric shock hazard. Consult your retailer if disassembly is necessary.
• Warning: Do not insert foreign objects or liquids into the unit. May cause electric shock, fire, or malfunction.
• Warning: Discontinue use during thunderstorms or lightning. May cause electric shock, fire, or malfunction.
• Warning: Do not use the included AC adapter or power plug with other electronic devices. May cause fire or malfunction due to specification differences.
• Warning: Do not use in wet locations or handle with wet hands. May cause electric shock or fire.
• Warning: Use only the specified power source. Connect the AC adapter/plug to an AC100V outlet. Handle the AC adapter/cord carefully to prevent damage. Do not pull by the cord, place objects on it, or use damaged cords, as this can lead to electric shock or fire. Avoid 'octopus wiring' or connecting to multiple extension cords that exceed the rated capacity, as this can cause fire. Always use the AC adapter/cord fully extended; bundled cords can overheat and cause fire.

[Icon]: Circle with a diagonal line through it means prohibition. Filled circle means mandatory action.

• Caution: Do not block ventilation openings. May cause fire or malfunction due to overheating.
• Avoid use/storage in high temperature, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Avoid locations with rapid temperature changes, which can cause condensation and malfunction.
• Avoid locations subject to shock or vibration.
• Keep away from radios/TVs to prevent noise interference. Strong magnetic fields from devices like motors can also cause interference and malfunction.
• Important: Before discarding or transferring the product, always perform initialization. This product may store sensitive information, and failure to initialize could risk unauthorized access by third parties. Refer to the 'Initialization Method' section for instructions.

This device is Class B equipment, intended for residential environments. It may cause radio interference if used near radio or television receivers. Follow the instructions in the manual for correct operation. (VCCI-B)

保証規定 (Warranty Terms)

Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage: Covers the main unit and issues arising from its operation. Excludes manuals and consumables.

Warranty Service: Free repair or replacement for failures occurring under normal use within the warranty period. Paid service applies after the warranty period.

Exclusions from Free Warranty:

• Failure to provide proof of purchase and the faulty product.
• Tampered or altered proof of purchase.
• Product purchased as used (including from flea markets or auctions).
• Damage caused by modification, disassembly, or repair by unauthorized third parties or the customer.
• Damage caused by connection or integration with non-specified equipment.
• Failure due to operating environments exceeding normal household/office conditions (temperature, humidity, vibration).
• Damage caused by shock or drops during transportation after purchase.
• Damage caused by external factors such as earthquakes, fire, lightning, floods, natural disasters, abnormal voltage, etc.
• Damage caused by connected equipment.
• Damage caused by software (firmware, driver) updates.
• Damage caused by handling contrary to instructions in the manual or on the website.
• Other circumstances where free repair/replacement is not recognized.

Repair: Contact your retailer or the ELECOM repair center. Shipping costs to the repair center are the customer's responsibility (return shipping is covered by ELECOM). Ensure proper packaging. ELECOM is not responsible for damage or loss during transit.

その他の情報 (Other Information)

オンラインバージョンアップ機能 (Online Version Update Function)

This product supports automatic firmware updates via the internet to improve functionality and security. If an update occurs, your connection will be temporarily interrupted. ELECOM is not responsible for data loss due to connection interruption or communication costs incurred by the customer. This function is enabled by default. To disable it, navigate to 'Other Settings' > 'Firmware Update' > 'Online Version Update (Automatic)' and select 'Disable' in the management screen.

サポート用情報アップロード機能 (Support Information Upload Function)

This function uploads device and network information to ELECOM servers for improved support and product/service enhancement. This may include remote operations like product restarts. Information is managed according to ELECOM's privacy policy (https://www.elecom.co.jp/privacy/). This function is enabled by default. To disable it, navigate to 'Other Settings' > 'Other' > 'Support Information Upload Function' and select 'Disable' in the management screen.

無線LANに関する注意事項 (Wireless LAN Precautions)

Wireless LAN uses radio waves, offering convenience but also potential security risks like eavesdropping and unauthorized access if not properly secured. Ensure all security settings are configured according to the manual. Be aware that special methods may bypass security settings. Consult ELECOM technical support if you encounter issues.

2.4GHz Band Notes: This band is used by various devices; ensure no interference from other licensed or unlicensed radio stations. If interference occurs, change frequency or stop transmission and contact support.

5GHz Band Notes: The 5GHz band (W52/W53) is for indoor use only.

初期化の方法 (Initialization Method)

To reset the product to factory default settings:

1. Disconnect all LAN cables. Connect the AC adapter and turn on the power. Wait for the POWER lamp to light up.
2. Using a thin pin, press and hold the RESET button on the back for 5 seconds until the POWER lamp blinks red. Release the button.
3. Initialization is complete when the POWER lamp lights up again.
