KLIM Lightning Gaming Keyboard Quick Start Guide
Welcome to your new KLIM Lightning keyboard.
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the KLIM Lightning semi-mechanical keyboard. This guide will help you get started.
The KLIM Lightning features a Function (FN) key that can be combined with other keys to change lighting effects or activate various computer functions.
Multimedia Keys
Use the FN key in combination with the F keys for multimedia controls:
- FN + F1: Media Player
- FN + F2: Volume -
- FN + F3: Volume +
- FN + F4: Mute Sound
- FN + F5: Stop
- FN + F6: Previous Track
- FN + F7: Play/Pause
- FN + F8: Next Track
- FN + F9: E-mail Client
- FN + F10: Home (Browser)
- FN + F11: Keyboard Lock
- FN + F12: Calculator
Note: Some function shortcuts may not be available on macOS.
Windows Key Lock and WASD Swap
- Press FN + WIN to lock or unlock the Windows key. [Lock Windows Key]
- Press FN + W to swap the WASD keys with the Arrow keys. [Swap WASD/Arrows]
Backlighting Controls
Use the FN key with the following keys to select your preferred lighting options:
- FN + ? [Auto Cycle]: Activate automatic color cycling mode.
- FN + ? [Swap Effects]: Swap between two multi-colored lighting effects.
- FN + ? [Fixed Light]: Fixed lighting mode. Press again to change colors.
- FN + ? [Breathing Light]: Breathing mode. Press again to change colors.
- FN + ? [Toggle Light]: Turn the lights on/off.
- FN + ☀️/? [Brightness +/-]: Increase/decrease brightness.
- FN + ⚡️/? [Speed +/-]: Decrease/increase effect speed.
Custom Mode
Customize each of the 6 lighting sections of the keyboard:
- Press FN + ⚙️ [Custom Mode] to enter Custom mode.
- While in Custom mode, press FN + ? [Edit Lights] to edit the lights. The 3 indicator lights on the top right will blink to signal you can start.
- Press FN + 1-6 (number keys) to change the color of each section. Press multiple times to cycle through colors.
- Once you have finished customizing the lights, press FN + ✅ [Save] to save your settings.
