What's In The Box
Please inspect the contents of your shipped package to ensure you have received everything that is listed below.
- Vega Jib 4': The main jib arm structure, shown folded.
- Handle: A cylindrical control handle.
- Weight Bar Rod: A rod for attaching counterweights.
- Flower Knob: A star-shaped knob for adjustments.
- Flower Knob (size-M8): A larger star-shaped knob.
- Counter Weight: A cylindrical weight.
- Bolt with Washer Size-1/4x5/8": A specific bolt and washer set.
- 2x Allen Key L- Type (Size: -1/8"/3/16): Two L-shaped Allen keys for assembly.
- Central: A central fork-like component for mounting.
- Converter Size-1/4"-3/8": A threaded adapter.
4' Vega Jib Setup
- Completely stretch and open the sections of the 4ft Vega Jib. (Visual: Jib arm sections being extended).
- After opening, loosen the bottom and side knobs of the Central Fork. (Visual: Hands loosening knobs on the central fork).
- Loosen the inbuilt grub screw in the central fork using the 1/8 Allen key. (Visual: Allen key turning a grub screw).
Feature: The Central Fork mechanism facilitates ultra-smooth pan-tilt movements while absorbing unwanted vibrations for cleaner shots.
- Remove the screw, then remove the central part. This prepares the jib for mounting onto a 5/8 baby pin stand. (Visual: Central part being detached). The jib can then be mounted on a 5/8 baby pin stand (Not Included).
- Mount the Vega jib section onto the Jib Stand (Not Included). (Visual: Jib arm being placed on a stand).
- After mounting, tighten both knobs while aligning the holes with each other. (Visual: Hands tightening knobs to secure the jib).
- Insert the counter weight into the jib section. (Visual: Counter weight being placed onto the jib).
- Stabilize the counter weight using the knob. (Visual: Knob being turned to secure the counter weight).
- Insert the weight rod into its section. (Visual: Weight rod being inserted).
- The 4' Vega jib is now assembled as shown. (Visual: Fully assembled jib crane on a stand).
Handle Assembly
- To detach handles, loosen them by turning in a circular motion. (Visual: Hands twisting handles apart).
Feature: The Camera Crane can be controlled and moved with the help of a handle.
- Remove the washer from the handle. (Visual: Washer being removed from a handle).
- Insert the handle into the hole at the end part section of the Vega Jib. (Visual: Handle being inserted into the jib arm).
- After inserting the handle, attach the handle to the jib from the other side. (Visual: Handle being connected to the opposite side of the jib).
- Attach the handles to each other. (Visual: Both handles being joined together).
- Mount the Quick Release Plate (Not Included) onto the Camera mounting plate of the Vega Jib. (Visual: Quick Release Plate being attached).
- After mounting the Quick Release Plate, insert the bolts from the bottom side of the Camera mounting plate. (Visual: Bolts being inserted from underneath).
- Insert a 1/4" bolt from the bottom of the extension Camera plate to secure the Quick Release Plate (Not Included) and tighten with the Allen key. (Visual: Bolt being tightened with an Allen key).
- Unlock the lever lock of the quick release plate. (Visual: Lever lock being disengaged).
Camera Mounting and Accessories
- Slide the Gimbal (Not Included) onto the Quick Release Plate and lock it using the locking lever. (Visual: Gimbal being attached and locked onto the plate).
- The Gimbal (Not Included) is now completely secured. (Visual: Gimbal firmly attached).
- Insert the weight (Not Included) inside the weight Rod.
NOTE: Use the weights according to your camera weight set up requirements.
(Visual: Weights being loaded onto the weight rod). - Monitor (Not Included) each frame by attaching a monitor to the Jib using the optional Universal Clamp with 13" articulating double arms and 3/8"-16 Threaded Stud. (Visual: Monitor attached to the jib arm via a clamp).

Warranty: PROAIM offers a one-year warranty for its products from the date of purchase. Within this period, repairs will be made without charge for labor or parts. The warranty does not cover transportation costs or damage resulting from misuse or accidental damage. Warranty repairs are subject to inspection and evaluation by PROAIM.
