Precautions

Please read this document carefully before using this product.

Power Supply

Use the designated power adapter to connect this product. This product requires a 9V 200mA power adapter with an internal negative and external positive configuration. Using the wrong power supply may cause a short circuit and damage the device. Disconnect the power when the product is not in use for a long time. It is recommended to use an isolated power supply for the device; sharing power with another device might cause unexpected noise.

Layout

The FF01 pedal features several controls and connections. The following describes each numbered component:

• 01 Screen: Displays status information.
• 02 SELECT/SAVE Knob: Rotate to adjust LOOPER parameter values; press and hold it to save.
• 03 VOLUME/DELETE Knob: Rotate to adjust LOOPER output volume; press and hold to delete.
• 04 LED Strip: Indicates LOOPER working status and track length.
• 05 Left Footswitch: Press to record/overdub/play functions.
• 06 Right Footswitch: Press to play/stop/clear functions.
• 07 INPUT L (MONO) Jack: 1/4" unbalanced left input (connect this jack for mono input, connect both left and right jacks for stereo input).
• 08 INPUT R Jack: 1/4" unbalanced right input.
• 09 OUTPUT L (MONO) Jack: 1/4" unbalanced left channel output (connect this jack for mono output, connect both left and right jacks for stereo output).
• 10 OUTPUT R Jack: 1/4" unbalanced right channel output.
• 11 USB-C Port: Connect to a computer for LOOPER data import/export/delete.
• 12 Headphone Jack: 1/8" stereo headphone output jack.
• 13 Power Jack: Power port (9V 200mA, center negative).

Instructions

Looper Settings

Press the Select knob to choose the parameter you want to set.

1.1 Slot

The FF01 has 40 Looper storage slots. Press the Select knob to choose the Slot option, then rotate the knob to select a slot.

1.2 One Shot

One Shot playback function. Press the Select knob to choose the One Shot option, then rotate the knob to turn it On/Off.

1.3 Fade Out

Press the Select knob to choose the Fade Out option, then rotate the knob to turn it Off or set a fade-out time from 1 to 5 seconds.

Looper Operations

After selecting the Looper slot, you can start using the looper.

2.1 Rec (Record)

In an empty track state, press the left footswitch to start recording the first layer of track. The LED strip will move slowly in red.

2.2 Dub & Play (Overdub & Play)

During recording, press the left footswitch to start playing the recorded track while overdubbing. The LED strip will flash in purple. During recording mode, press the right footswitch to start playback without overdubbing. The LED strip will flash in blue. Press the left or right footswitch during overdubbing to stop overdubbing and start playing the recorded tracks. If the currently selected slot is not empty, repeatedly pressing the left footswitch alternates between DUB and PLAY. Note: When the first track reaches 4 minutes, it will automatically stop recording and switch to PLAY mode.

2.3 Undo/Redo

When there are two or more layers in the current slot, press and hold the right footswitch for 1 second during playback mode to UNDO. The LED strip will flash briefly in yellow, and the last recorded layer will be deleted temporarily. Press and hold the right footswitch for 1 second again to REDO. The LED strip will flash briefly in yellow, and the track that has been undone before will be recalled.

2.4 Stop

During playback mode, press the right footswitch to stop playing. The LED strip will flash in white. When the One Shot function is enabled, pressing the right footswitch once during overdub or playback will activate the One Shot function, indicated by the flashing "1 Shot" on the screen. The Looper track will automatically stop at the end without repeating; pressing the right footswitch twice during DUB or PLAY will immediately stop playback. When the Fade Out function is enabled, pressing the right footswitch during playback will activate the Fade Out function, indicated by the flashing "Fade Out" on the screen. The recorded track will naturally fade to silence before stopping. Pressing the right footswitch twice in playback mode will stop playback immediately.

2.5 Delete (Clear Track)

In playback mode, press the right footswitch twice and hold for 1 second, or press and hold the right footswitch for 1 second in stop mode to clear the track. The LED strip will flash rapidly in red before turning off, indicating the tracks have been cleared. Note: This clearing method only applies to unsaved temporary Looper data. Saved Looper data cannot be cleared by this method.

2.6 Looper Data Save/Delete

After recording a track at the current slot, at the STOP status, press and hold the Select knob for 1 second until a prompt appears on the screen, then press the Select knob again to save. The progress bar will complete, and the Slot name will change from "Empty" to "Stored." If the Volume knob is pressed after the prompt, the save operation will be canceled. Note: After saving, the Undo/Redo function cannot be executed if no new layers of track are overdubbed.

2.7 Looper Playback Volume Adjustment

Rotate the Volume knob to adjust the Looper playback volume. The screen temporarily displays the volume parameter information. The adjustment range is -∞ to 6dB, with a factory default of 0dB. A visual representation of volume bars is shown, indicating 'Volume' and '0.0 dB'.

Computer Data Management

Connection

Connect the FF01 to a computer using a USB cable via the FF01's USB port. During the connection, the FF01 will stop playback, and other functions will be disabled. The screen will display "Device Connected." For WIN PC, click "My Computer," or in macOS, click "Finder" to find the removable disk named "FF01" and open it. Inside the disk, find and open the "WAVE" folder. The subfolders W01 to W40 correspond to the 40 storage slots in the FF01 device. A graphic indicating 'Device Connected' with a USB symbol and a checkmark is displayed.

Data Import

Open the subfolder corresponding to the Looper storage slot within the "WAVE" folder. If the subfolder is empty, it means there is no track data for the current Looper slot. To import data, drag or copy audio files (only 44.1kHz / 16Bit WAV stereo audio files are supported) from your computer into an empty subfolder. After importing, rename the audio file to "RECXX" (where the last two digits correspond to the current Looper storage slot number; for example, rename it to REC01 if importing into W01). Disconnect the USB, and the screen will return to normal. Switching to the previously imported slot will now show that the audio file is in it. Note: After importing data, if no new layers of track are overdubbed, the Undo/Redo function cannot be used.

Data Export

Open the subfolder containing audio data in the "WAVE" folder, then drag or copy the audio files to another location to complete the data export.

Data Deletion

Open the subfolder containing audio data in the "WAVE" folder, and delete the audio files within the subfolder to delete the data in the slot directly. After disconnecting the USB, the storage slot that has been deleted before will show it as "Empty." Notes: If the imported audio file is longer than 4 minutes, the FF01 will loop play within the first 4 minutes during playback, ignoring the reset of it. If the imported audio file does not meet the format requirements (44.1kHz / 16Bit WAV stereo audio file) or is not renamed correctly (RECXX), the file will be deleted automatically, and the import will be invalid.
