2 PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Front View

The front of the keybox features a Keypad (numbers 1-9, 0, X, and checkmark), an Indicator Light, a Card reader area, and an optional Fingerprint Sensor. It also includes a Type-C port for emergency use (not for charging) and a Cylinder Hole.

4 RESET TO FACTORY STATE

To reset the keybox to factory settings, long press the reset button located on the back of the front shell using a small pin (less than 2.5mm in diameter).

ATTENTION: After powering on the device, long press the reset button for 5 seconds. The device will prompt "Please enter the initialization password (000 [checkmark])". Upon successful entry, a "Operation successful" sound will play. The default master password is 123456, which can be used to unlock the keybox.

Factory State: Default password is 123456 [plus-minus] to unlock.

5 INSTALLATION STEPS

5.1 Wall Mount

Ensure the keybox is fixed on the wall at a suitable height from the ground.

5.1.1 Wall Mount (Brick wall)
  • Step 1: Poke out hole plug.
  • Step 2: Use the keybox as a template.
  • Step 3: Drill holes (Drilling depth: D6x40mm) using a percussion bit.
  • Step 4: Install expansion plugs into the drilled holes.
  • Step 5: Install screws to secure the keybox.
5.1.2 Wall Mount (Plank)
  • Step 1: Poke out hole plug.
  • Step 2: Use the keybox as a template.
  • Step 3: Pilot drill holes (Drilling Hole (D2x40mm)) using a twist drill.
  • Step 4: Install screws to secure the keybox.

5.1.3 Install Batteries

Insert 4pcs AAA alkaline batteries into the battery box, ensuring correct polarity (+/-), and tighten the battery box cover.

5.1.4 Function Test

Turn over the protection cover following the arrow direction. Press fingerprint or passcode to unlock the keybox.

5.1.5 Key Test

Test the key to unlock properly. Do not place the keys inside the box.

5.2 Shackle Installation and Use

5.2.1 Unplug

Remove the rubber plug.

5.2.2 Battery Mounting

Insert 4pcs AAA alkaline batteries and fix the battery box cover.

5.2.3 Shackle Locking - knob

Buckle the shackle and lock box in the direction of the arrow.

5.2.4 Shackle Unlock - knob

Push the button to the top, then detach the lock box and shackle. The Unhook button requires firm upward pressure to unhook.

6 Tuya APP Settings

Download the Tuyasmart or Smart life app from the Apple Store or Google Play. You can also scan the provided QR codes to download the app directly.

6.1 Register Account

Register an account using your E-mail or mobile number.

6.1.1 Sign Up

Follow the on-screen prompts for signing up.

6.1.2 Enter Mobile or Mail

Enter your mobile number or email address to receive a verification code.

6.1.3 Enter the Code

Input the verification code sent to your mail or mobile.

6.1.4 Set Password and Login

Set a secure password and log in to your account.

6.2 Intelligent Configuration

Run the Tuya smart app and tap "Add Device" in the top right corner for auto-scan.

  • Step 1: Add Device.
  • Step 2: Activate the lock and click "Add".
  • Step 3: Complete the process by tapping "Done".

6.3 Function Description

Within the Tuya smart app, access features like Member management, unlock records, and settings. You can also slide a bar to unlock the door directly.

6.4 Add User Fingerprint

In the Tuya smart app, navigate to "Member Management" and add a fingerprint.

  • Step 1: Select "Member".
  • Step 2: Click the "Add" button under the Fingerprint option.
  • Step 3: Click "Add" again under the fingerprint option.
  • Step 4: Place your finger on the sensor 5 times as prompted.
  • Step 5: Name the fingerprint and confirm.

6.5 Delete User Fingerprint

In the Tuya smart app settings, go to "Member Management" and delete a fingerprint.

  • Step 1: Select the "Member".
  • Step 2: Choose the Fingerprint name to delete.
  • Step 3: Confirm the deletion of the User Fingerprint.

6.6 Add User Password

In the Tuya smart app, go to "Member Management" and add a user password.

  • Step 1: Select "Temporary Code".
  • Step 2: Click "Add" under the Code option.
  • Step 3: Click "Random" and then name the user.

6.7 Delete User Password

In the Tuya smart app settings, select the code name and delete it.

  • Step 1: Select the "Member".
  • Step 2: Choose the "Code".
  • Step 3: Click the "Code name".
  • Step 4: Delete the Code user.

6.8 Add User Card

In the Tuya smart app, go to "Member Management" and add a user card.

  • Step 1: Select "Member".
  • Step 2: Click "Add" under the Card option.
  • Step 3: Tap the card on the lock induction area.
  • Step 4: Confirm by tapping "Done".

6.9 Delete User Card

In the Tuya smart app settings, select the user card name and delete it.

  • Step 1: Select the "Member".
  • Step 2: Choose the "Card name".
  • Step 3: Delete the User Card.

6.10 Temporary Code

In the Tuya app, select "Temporary Code" to set Timed-Limited, One-Time, or Custom passwords for unlocking.

7 Reset the Key Box

To reset the keybox to factory state via the Tuya app, click "Remove Device" and select "Disconnect and Wipe Data". Alternatively, a hardware reset can be performed by pressing the setting key through the designated hole with a small stick (e.g., a toothpick) less than 2.5mm in diameter. Refer to page 5 for detailed hardware reset instructions.

Factory State: Default password is 123456 [plus-minus] to unlock.

8 Troubleshoot and Solution (FAQ)

  • Question 1: Can I unlock the door with my fingerprint for the first time? Answer: Yes, after installation and powering on with 4pcs AAA alkaline batteries, you can use any fingerprint to unlock the door before configuring the lock with the mobile app.
  • Question 2: What kind of battery shall we use? Answer: 4pcs AAA alkaline batteries are highly recommended. Do not use other battery types.
  • Question 3: Is the lock auto-locked? Answer: After unlocking, the door waits for 5 seconds before auto-locking when the front panel is closed.
  • Question 4: How can a friend add the lock to their mobile? Answer: The current device must be removed from your mobile app by selecting "Remove Device" and "Disconnect and Wipe Data". Refer to page 5 for more options.
  • Question 5: Can I charge the lock box via the Type-C port? Answer: The Type-C port is for emergency use only with a power bank to unlock the keybox. It is forbidden to charge the device via this port. Replace batteries promptly when the low power alarm triggers.
  • Question 6: I insert the manual key and turn but cannot unlock the box. Answer: Please insert the manual key, turn it clockwise, and then pull open the panel to unlock. Ensure the silicone plug is rotated correctly.
  • Question 7: Is it possible to remotely unlock my door? Answer: A gateway is required for remote unlocking. Please contact the sales service line for configuration. Once set up, you can use the app icon for remote unlocking.
