About the Tumnus Deluxe
The Wampler Tumnus Deluxe delivers the world's most mythical and exclusive tone, now with enhanced gain switching, a versatile 3-band EQ, and the choice between switchable buffered or true bypass operation.
Controls
- Volume: Adjusts the total output volume of the pedal.
- Gain: Controls the amount of gain applied to the signal. Turning clockwise increases gain; turning counter-clockwise decreases it.
- Bass / Mid / Treble: These controls adjust the amount of bass, mid, and treble frequencies in the circuit. Turning each control clockwise increases the respective frequency, while turning counter-clockwise decreases it.
- Buffer Switch: This switch allows you to select between buffered bypass and true bypass modes.
- Gain Switch: This switch adds additional gain into the circuit for more drive.
Power Requirements
This pedal is designed for use with a 9V DC power source and performs optimally at 9V. To prevent damage and maintain warranty coverage:
- ⚠️ Warning: Do not use a power supply higher than 9V, as this will cause damage.
- Do not use center pin positive adapters.
- Do not use AC power.
The pedal draws approximately 70.3mA at 9V. The warranty period begins at the point of purchase.
Wampler Pedals Limited Warranty
Wampler offers a five (5) year warranty to the original purchaser, covering defects in material and workmanship. A dated sales receipt is required for warranty coverage. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, neglect, normal cosmetic wear, disaster, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper packing or shipping, or unauthorized service, repair, or modifications.
Your sole remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective product.
Return Procedures
If a defect occurs, please follow these steps:
- Obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from Wampler's Customer Service Department before shipping.
- Ship defective products, along with a dated sales receipt, freight pre-paid and insured directly to: WAMPLER SERVICE DEPT - 5300 Harbor Street, Commerce, CA 90040.
- Use original packaging or equivalent. The purchaser bears the risk of loss or damage during transit.
- The RA# must be clearly printed below the shipping address on the package.
- Include a brief description of the defect, your correct return address, and telephone number.
- When inquiring about a returned product via email, always reference the RA#.
Wampler will, at its option, repair or replace the product at no additional charge. Replaced parts become Wampler property. Return shipping within the United States is via ground service, freight prepaid. Wampler is not responsible for costs associated with expedited shipping.
Incidental or Consequential Damage
Wampler is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any Wampler product, even if Wampler or a dealer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.

Please complete the online warranty registration within ten (10) days of purchase at www.RegisterYourWampler.com. This allows Wampler to contact you directly in the event of a safety notification.
FCC Compliance
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used according to instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. There is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment causes harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
