Installation
Before You Start:
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Consult a qualified technician for specific instructions.
- Avoid installing the unit where it may be exposed to high temperatures (direct sunlight) or excessive dust, dirt, or vibration.

Note: When replacing a fuse, use only the correct type and amperage (1 x 15 amp ATC mini style fuse). Incorrect fuses can cause damage.

USB Operation
From the main menu, touch the USB icon on the main screen to access USB content.

Audio Operation
Access audio settings via the Settings menu. Select from the following:
- Balance/Fader: Adjust the sound distribution between speakers.
- Time Alignment: Optimize sound staging.
- EQ Presets: Select pre-configured equalizer settings.
- 10-Band EQ: Manually adjust frequencies for custom sound.
- Surround Settings: Configure surround sound effects.
Bluetooth Operation
Before using Bluetooth:
Your Bluetooth device must be authenticated (paired) before you can make hands-free calls or stream audio.
Pairing a New Device:
- The unit broadcasts a pairing signal when no devices are connected. Initiate the pairing sequence from your Bluetooth device. Refer to your device's manual for details. The unit's name is "CAR723W".
- Connecting: The head unit can automatically connect to the last connected device if "Auto Connect" is set to 'On'. If set to 'Off', manual connection is required.
Bluetooth Phone:
- From the main menu, touch the Bluetooth icon. A Bluetooth icon appears when a device is connected.
- Dialing a Number: Press to display the keypad and dial.
- Making and Ending a Call: Press ? to connect and ❌ to end a call.
- Transferring Audio: Press to transfer audio between the head unit and your mobile phone.
Screen Operation
Access screen settings by pressing the Monitor icon in the Settings menu:
- Brightness: Adjust screen brightness.
- Contrast: Adjust screen contrast.
- Button Illumination Colors: Customize button lighting.
- Wallpaper Settings: Change the background image.
General Operation
Access general settings by pressing the Function icon in the Settings menu:
- Time Zone: Select your local time zone. Options include various GMT offsets (e.g., GMT-08:00 Pacific Time).
- Date & Time: Set the current date and time.
- Daylight Saving Time: Enable/disable DST.
- Bluetooth Beep Tone: Configure Bluetooth connection tones.
- Power Off Delay: Set a delay for the unit to turn off after ignition is switched off.
- Language: Select the display language.
Tuner Operation
Control radio functions including tuning, band selection, and presets.

Wired & Wireless CarPlay Operation
Wired Connection:
- Connect an Apple CarPlay compatible device to this unit via USB.
- Press the Apple CarPlay icon on the main menu. The Apple CarPlay home screen will appear.
Wireless Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone.
- Press the ? icon on the main menu.
- Press ✅ to confirm using wireless CarPlay.
- Press ? to search for phone devices. Available devices will appear in a list.
- Select your desired device and press "Pair".
- A passkey will be displayed on the screen.
- Confirm the same key appears on your iPhone, then press "Pair" and "Allow" for any pop-up prompts.
- Press ✅ on the screen to confirm the connection.
- Press "Use CarPlay" on your iPhone. The unit will configure the connection and launch the application.
Wired & Wireless Android Auto™ Operation
Wired Connection:
- Connect an Android Auto™ compatible device to this unit via USB.
- Press the Android Auto icon on the main menu. The Android Auto home screen will appear.
Wireless Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your Android device.
- Press the ? icon on the main menu.
- Press ✅ to confirm using wireless Android Auto.
- Press ? to search for phone devices. Available devices will appear in a list.
- Select your desired device and press "Pair".
- A passkey will be displayed on the screen.
- Confirm the same key appears on your Android device, then press "Pair" and "Allow" for any pop-up prompts.
- Press ✅ on the screen to confirm the connection. The unit will configure the connection and launch the application.
Rear Camera
Ensure your rear camera is connected and powered on for functionality.
Limited Three Year* Warranty
This warranty grants specific legal rights, with others potentially varying by state. Jensen warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the original purchase date.
Jensen will, at its option, repair or replace defective products with new, renewed, or comparable items during the warranty period, subject to verification of defect and proof of purchase. Replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
What is covered: All defects in material and workmanship.
What is not covered: Software, installation/removal costs, damage from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, improper installation, incorrect voltage, unauthorized repair, or failure to follow instructions. Software license conditions and copyright notices are available at www.jensenmobile.com.
Warranty Coverage: *Limited 3-year warranty (Proof of purchase required). Jensen recommends professional installation for optimal performance.
To Obtain Service:
- Check the troubleshooting guide in your owner's manual before contacting service.
- Pack the product carefully (preferably in original packaging) and ship via prepaid transportation with a copy of the original receipt to an authorized service center.
- Include a written description of the problem, your name, a UPS shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), and a daytime phone number.

Exclusion of Certain Damages: This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. Jensen is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
