This manual provides information on the ACGAM YK830 keyboard, covering its features, operation, and connectivity.
Keyboard Views
Top View: The keyboard features a prominent OLED display, a control knob for navigation and selection, and adjustable feet for tilt positions.
Rear View: The rear of the keyboard includes a USB Type-C port for charging and wired connectivity, and a power switch.
OLED Display and Knob Operation
The OLED display provides visual feedback for various settings and modes. The control knob is used to navigate menus and confirm selections.
Knob Functions:
- Select Screen/Setting: Turn the knob to cycle through available options.
- Confirm Selection: Press the knob to confirm the currently highlighted option or setting.
OLED Display Screens:
- Boot Screen: Displays during startup.
- Home Screen: Shows current status, typically including battery level, date, and time.
- Functions Setting Screen: Allows access to various keyboard settings.
- Battery Status: Displays the current battery percentage.
- Date & Time: Shows the current date and time.
- Win/Mac System: Indicates the currently selected operating system (Windows or macOS).
- Volume Setting: Displays the current audio volume level.
- Connection Modes: Options include Type-C Connection, 2.4G Wired Connection, and Bluetooth Wired Connection.
- Win Lock: Indicates if the Windows key is locked to prevent accidental presses.
- Caps Lock: Indicates if the Caps Lock key is active.
Custom Startup Screen:
The keyboard supports custom startup animations displayed on the OLED screen. These animations must be in GIF format, with a maximum of 255 frames and a recommended resolution of 240x135 pixels. Note: The software for creating custom startup screens is currently only available for Windows systems.
Connectivity and Modes
The YK830 keyboard supports multiple connection methods.
How to Use 2.4Ghz Wireless:
- Insert the 2.4Ghz wireless dongle into a USB port on your computer.
- Turn the control knob to select "Connection" and press to confirm.
- Turn the knob to select the "2.4G" mode and press to confirm.
How to Use Bluetooth Connection:
- Turn the control knob to select "Connection" and press to confirm.
- Turn the knob to select the desired Bluetooth channel (e.g., BT1) and press to confirm.
- Long press the control knob to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The keyboard will automatically connect to previously paired devices when the corresponding mode is selected.
Operation Methods (Combination Keys)
The keyboard offers various functions accessible through key combinations.
Volume Adjustment:
Press and hold the FN key and the control knob simultaneously. The keyboard backlight will flash, indicating entry into volume adjustment mode. Turn the knob to adjust the volume. Press the FN + knob again to return to the screen adjustment mode.
System Switching:
- In Windows mode: Press FN + Z to switch to Windows system.
- In Mac mode: Press FN + X to switch to Mac system.
Backlight Control:
- Effect/Color Control: Turn the knob to select "Backlight Effect" and press to confirm. Then, turn the knob to choose the desired effect or color and press to confirm.
- Brightness/Speed Control: Turn the knob to select "Backlight Brightness/Speed" and press to confirm. Turn the knob clockwise to increase brightness/speed, and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
Volume/Language Setting:
Turn the knob to select "Volume/Language Setting" and press to confirm. Turn the knob to adjust the volume or select a language (e.g., Chinese, English) and press to confirm.
Multimedia Keys (Windows):
The following keys provide multimedia and system functions:
- FN + F1: Screen Brightness -

Other Functions:
- Win Lock/Unlock: Press FN + WIN key to lock or unlock the Windows key.
- Factory Settings Reset: Hold FN + ESC for approximately 3 seconds to restore the keyboard to its factory default settings.
- Keyboard Screen On/Off: Hold FN + Scr for approximately 3 seconds to turn the keyboard's OLED screen on or off.
