4. Directions for Use
4.1 Usage Method
- Press the power switch button. The device enters the loading state, with a loading time of 1-2 seconds. Loading points are displayed dynamically during this period.
- During the loading process, the equipment performs a self-checking function. If a failure occurs, a failure code is displayed (refer to section 4.5 for specific fault codes). If there are no errors, the system enters the normal state.
- Once in the normal state, select the mode: Children, Adults, or RVG (digital sensing mode). After mode selection, choose the tooth area to be imaged (incisor, premolar, or molar). Refer to the table below for exposure times based on tooth area and model. (Note: Exposure times are for reference only and may need adjustment based on sensor and film sensitivity.)
Teeth Model Time Maxillary Adult 0.5-0.7s Child 0.3-0.5s RVG 0.2-0.3s Maxillary Adult 0.8-1.0s Child 0.5-0.75s RVG 0.3-0.5s Mandible Adult 1.2-1.5s Child 0.8-1.0s RVG 0.5-0.8S Mandible Adult 0.4-0.6s Child 0.2-0.4s RVG 0.2-0.3s Mandible Adult 0.6-0.8S Child 0.4-0.6s RVG 0.3-0.4s Mandible Adult 1.0-1.3s Child 0.8-1.0s RVG 0.5-0.8s - After adjusting the pattern and tooth, proceed to the shooting Angle adjustment phase. Different teeth correspond to different angles, as detailed in the table below:
Teeth Angle Maxillary 1, 2 +42° 3 +45° 4, 5, 6 +30° 7, 8 +20° Mandible 1, 2 -15° 3 -20° 4, 5, 6 -10° 7, 8 -5° - After the mode, tooth position, and Angle adjustments are completed, the next step is to take the image. After pressing the exposure button, a buzzer will sound ('drop' hint), and the screen will show 'WAIT' simultaneously. The 'exposure indicator light' will flash red and blue. Exposure is then successful. If an error code appears during the exposure process, stop using the device immediately and refer to the error code to find the solution. The exposure successful display interface is shown below. Diagram: The screen displays 'WAIT' indicating the exposure process is underway.
6. After exposure, the device enters standby protection status for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, it restores the last exposure settings. Before this, all keys are locked except for the power switch.
7. To charge, counterclockwise unscrew the beam limiter, plug in the charger power supply (Note: the port on the bottom left of the screen is the charging port). The charger light changes from red to green when charging is complete.
8. After shooting is completed, if no further filming is required, turn off the power and place the device back in its storage location.
