SICCE AIRLIGHT Air Pump
Instruction Manual - Models: 1000 / 1500 / 3000
Introduction
Thank you for choosing SICCE AIRLIGHT, an air pump ideal for freshwater aquariums, hydroponic systems, and other applications requiring air movement. Its modern design, compact dimensions, and silent performance make the SICCE AIRLIGHT a good choice for your needs. Please read and save these instructions to use your AIRLIGHT effectively.
General Safety Instructions
AIRLIGHT is manufactured in conformity with national and international security laws.
- Check that the voltage on the air pump's label corresponds to your electricity supply voltage. The device must be powered by a differential switch with a nominal current of 30mA or less.
- IMPORTANT: The air pump cannot work submerged; it must only be used out of water.
- Before connecting the air pump to the electric network, check that the cable and the air pump are not damaged.
- The air pump has a type Z cable link. The cable and the plug cannot be substituted or repaired; in case of damage to either, the air pump must be replaced.
- Do not use the air pump for purposes other than those for which it has been designed, such as in bathrooms or similar applications. For different uses, please contact the manufacturer or the sales shop.
- The air pump has not been designed for people with disabilities and/or children unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
- To avoid accidental drips wetting the plug or the socket, make a loop with the cord under the socket level (See Figure A).
- Avoid taking the air pump by the cord during installation or maintenance.
Pump Installation: Use and Regulation
Before starting up the appliance, ensure that it is sitting in a stable position and verify the integrity of all its parts.
Position the air pump on a smooth vertical or horizontal surface and take care that it is located above the water level, so as to prevent it from sucking in water (See Figure 1).
A warning light indicates that the air pump is working.
Maintenance
During aquarium maintenance, do not let water get into the AIRLIGHT. When the tube is detached from the air pump, the air pump must remain ON. Once aquarium maintenance is completed, reposition the AIRLIGHT on a smooth vertical or horizontal surface.
Troubleshooting: Reduced Air Intake / Warning Light Goes Out
This problem is mostly caused by clogging of the porous stone with algae and other particles that deposit in the aeration blocks. It is good practice to check the porous stone weekly and remove any dirt, as it could damage the diaphragm of the AIRLIGHT.
The warning light fitted on the AIRLIGHT has an exclusively aesthetic purpose. If it goes out, this has no effect on the good operation of the product.
Correct Disposal of the Product (According to EU Directive 2002/96/EC)
When used or broken, the product must not be discharged with other waste. It can be delivered to specific electric waste collection centers or to dealers who provide this service. Discharging electric tools separately avoids negative consequences for the environment and health and allows materials to be recycled, saving energy and resources.
Warranty
This product is guaranteed against defects of materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty certificate must be filled in by the dealer and must accompany the pump if it is returned for repair, along with the cash register receipt or similar document. The warranty covers the replacement of defective parts. In case of improper use, tampering, or negligence by the buyer or user, the guarantee is void and expires immediately. The guarantee is also void in the absence of the cash register receipt or similar document. The expenses for shipping the pump to and from the factory or repair station have to be paid by the buyer.
