Appearance and Components
The doorbell features a camera lens, LED light ring, microphone, speaker, PIR sensor, doorbell button, and reset button. It also includes terminals for power input.

Setting Up the Doorbell
Step 1: Download the App
Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' App from the Apple [App Store] or [Google Play]. You can also scan the provided QR codes (if available in the original document) to download the app.
Step 2: Connect to the App
1. Sign up for an App account. On the App homepage, tap [add-device-icon] 'Add Device' and select the smart camera (Wi-Fi).
Follow the App prompts to allow necessary permissions for device addition and usage.
Status LED Indicators during Setup:
- [slow-blinking-blue] Slow blinking blue: Ready to connect.
- [slow-blinking-red] Slow blinking red: Disconnected from the internet.
- [solid-blue] Solid blue: Connected to the router successfully.
- [flashing-blue-red] Flashing blue and red alternately: Firmware update in progress.
- [slow-flashing-blue-charging] Slow flashing blue (charging indicator): Battery is charging.
- [solid-blue-charging] Solid blue (charging indicator): Charging completed.
Device Reset
To reset the device, hold the [reset-button] for 5-6 seconds until you hear 'reset successfully'. This is necessary if your Wi-Fi SSID has changed.
Step 3: Add the Device
1. Click 'Next' in the App. Select a stable 2.4GHz [wifi-icon] network (5GHz is not supported) and enter the password.
2. Hold your mobile phone with the generated QR code at a distance of 15-20cm from the camera lens. Do not move until you hear a [sound-indicator] 'Di' sound.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts in the App to complete the device addition.
Important Note: Ensure your mobile phone and the camera are connected to the same Wi-Fi router during setup.
Determine the Power Option
Option 1: Battery Powered
Use this option if your front door lacks existing doorbell wiring. Fully charge the [battery-icon] camera before mounting. Refer to 'Power the doorbell with battery' (page 12 in original document) for details.
Option 2: Doorbell Wire Powered
Use this option if your front door has existing, working doorbell wiring. The doorbell will receive continuous power from the wires. Refer to 'Power the Doorbell with existing Doorbell Wires' (page 15 in original document) for details.
Note: For wired power, use a [5V-1.5A-adapter] power adapter if needed, or connect to existing doorbell wires ([8-24V-ac]).
