Button Instructions
The MILESEEY S7 Laser Distance Meter features a screen at the top and a control panel below with several buttons, numbered 1 through 7.
Button 1: Measure MEAS ?
Short-press to take measurements or change and confirm selected items in menus. Long-press to activate scanning mode (continuous measurement).
Button 2: Measuring Mode ?️
Short-press to enter the measuring mode menu. In Offset Setting, short-press to select digits.
Button 3: Setting/Subtract SET ⚙️/➖
Short-press to enter the setting menu.
Button 4: Camera ?
Short-press to turn on the camera. In Data History, short-press to delete current data.
Button 5: Up/Add ⬆️➕
In menus, short-press to select items. After taking measurements, short-press to perform addition based on previous measurement.
Button 6: Down/Subtract ⬇️➖
In menus, short-press to select items. After taking measurements, short-press to perform subtraction based on previous measurement.
Button 7: Power/Return ⏻↩️
Long-press to turn on/off the device. Short-press to return to the previous page.
Icon Descriptions
The device screen displays various icons and data points:
- 1 Current Measuring Reference (e.g., Front, Back, Tripod)
- 2 Wireless Connection ? (Indicates connection status)
- 3 Tilt Angle (Displays measured angle)
- 4 Battery Level ? (Shows remaining battery power)
- 5 Current Measuring Mode (Indicates the active measurement function)
- 6 Measured Data (Displays intermediate measurement values)
- 7 Result (Shows the final measurement outcome)
Setting Menu
The setting menu, accessed via Button 3, provides access to various device configurations:
- LINK ?: Enable wireless connection.
- Measuring Reference: Switch between Front, Back, and Tripod measurement origins.
- Data History: View or delete saved measurement data.
- Timer: Set a time-delayed measurement.
- FONT: Enable larger text display.
- Digital Spirit Level ⚖️: Activate the digital spirit level function.
- UNIT ?: Switch measurement units (e.g., meters, feet).
- Auto Rotate ?: Enable screen rotation.
- Offset Setting ?: Set an offset value for measurements.
- Background ?️: Switch between black and white display modes.
- Beeper ?: Enable or disable sound feedback for button presses.

App Connection
Connect your MILESEEY S7 to your smartphone using the "Smart Life" app:
- Enable "LINK" in the device's setting menu.
- Scan the provided QR code (a matrix of black and white squares) to download and install the "Smart Life" app on your phone.
- Open the "Smart Life" app, click "Add Device", search for nearby devices, select "D9 Pro", and click "Connect".
