WHITE KNIGHT PL60 PUMPS

Durable Shuttle-Driven Pumps For High-Purity Chemicals

Although PL60 pumps are actively stocked and supported, PSA060 pumps are recommended upgrades. PSA060 pumps offer improved reliability and shorter lead times. See pump comparisons below or online at: https://wkfluid.com/pl-pump/

Overview

PL60 metal-free bellows pumps feature PTFE/PFA fluid paths. They distribute chemicals at temperatures up to 100°C (212°F) and allow for air supply pressures up to 7 Bar (100 psi). The pumps operate continuously throughout their two-year warranty. The pumps are capable of maximum flow rates of 60 L/min.

Features & Benefits

  • Metal-Free PTFE/PFA liquid path
  • No elastomer O-rings, no leaks, never retorque
  • Nonmetal design provides safe, leak-free operation
  • Pneumatic Logic™ minimizes pulsation and vibration
  • No preventative maintenance during two-year warranty
  • Durable machined design with minimal parts
  • Polypropylene heads; ceramic in air side
  • A solenoid-driven option is also available

Temperature Limits

The 'Temperature Limits' section displays two graphs, 'PL Series' and 'PSA Series'. Both graphs plot Air Supply Pressure (in Bar and PSI) on the Y-axis against Temperature (in °C and °F) on the X-axis. For both series, the maximum allowable air supply pressure of 7 Bar (100 PSI) is maintained across the entire temperature range from 20°C (68°F) to 100°C (212°F).

Performance Comparison

The 'PL60 Performance' graph illustrates the pump's capabilities. The X-axis represents Liquid Flowrate in Liters Per Minute (LPM), cubic meters per hour (m³/hr), and Gallons Per Minute (GPM). The Y-axis shows Discharge Pressure in PSI and Bar. Several diagonal lines indicate performance at different Air Pressure settings (10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 PSI). Accompanying data points show Air Consumption in Standard Cubic Feet per Minute (SCFM) and Cycle Rate in Cycles Per Minute (CPM) for specific operating conditions. For example, at 100 PSI air pressure, the pump can achieve a maximum flowrate of approximately 60 LPM (15 GPM) with 0 PSI discharge pressure, consuming 22 SCFM of air and operating at 200 CPM. The 'PSA060 Performance' graph provides similar performance data for the PSA060 pump. The X-axis shows Liquid Flowrate (LPM, m³/hr, GPM), and the Y-axis shows Discharge Pressure (PSI, Bar). Diagonal lines represent Air Pressure settings (10-100 PSI). Air Consumption (SCFM) and Cycle Rate (CPM) are also indicated. At 100 PSI air pressure, the PSA060 pump can achieve a maximum flowrate of approximately 62.3 LPM (16.46 GPM) with 0 PSI discharge pressure, consuming 22 SCFM of air and operating at 200 CPM.

Dimensions

The 'PL60 Dimensions' diagram shows a side view and top view of the pump, including the solenoid-driven model. Key dimensions are provided in millimeters (mm) and inches (in). Notable measurements include overall length (approx. 259 mm / 10.2 in), width (approx. 156 mm / 6.1 in), and height (approx. 220 mm / 8.7 in). Air and fluid port connections are also indicated. The 'PSA060 Dimensions' diagram presents side and top views of the pump, detailing its physical layout. Dimensions are given in millimeters (mm) and inches (in). The diagram highlights mounting points and provides overall dimensions, such as length (approx. 259 mm / 10.2 in) and width (approx. 135 mm / 5.3 in). It also shows the location of air and fluid connections and specifies mounting hardware requirements (2 ea. 3/8" socket head cap screws).
