Polysan Flexia Shower Tray Installation Guide
This document provides detailed instructions for the installation of the Polysan Flexia shower tray. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure a correct and long-lasting installation. The guide covers multiple installation variants suitable for different subfloor types.
General Information & Preparation
Before starting, ensure you have all necessary tools and materials, including appropriate adhesives (Flexi glue) and sealants (Silicone). Verify that the installation area is prepared according to the chosen variant's requirements.
Important Note: Maintain a minimum gap of 2 mm where indicated during installation.
Page 1 shows the product name "FLEXIA" and three main installation scenarios labeled A, B, and C. It also lists available language versions of the instructions and highlights a "min 2 mm" requirement. A red cross icon (❌) indicates an incorrect installation method.
Installation Variants
Variant A: Standard Installation
This variant is suitable for general subfloor preparation.
Step 1: Drain Preparation. Prepare the subfloor for the drain assembly. This typically involves creating an area of approximately 200 mm x 150 mm, ensuring a 90° corner alignment for the drain outlet.
Diagram shows drain components and placement within a corner, with dimensions.
Step 2: Tray Positioning. Place the shower tray in its intended location.
Step 3: Apply Adhesive. Apply "Flexi glue" to the subfloor in a wavy pattern as shown in the diagram. This ensures even adhesion.

Step 4: Secure Tray. Use mounting brackets to secure the shower tray to the subfloor. Ensure the tray is level.

Step 5: Connect Drain. Assemble and connect the drain to the tray outlet. Ensure a secure fit.

Step 6: Seal and Test. Apply "SILICONE" sealant around the perimeter of the tray where it meets the walls or floor. Place weights (e.g., 25 kg) on the tray to ensure proper contact with the adhesive while it cures. Allow adequate drying time.

Variant B: Installation on Tiles or Concrete
This variant offers specific instructions for installing the tray on either existing floor tiles or a concrete subfloor.
Sub-variant B1: For Floor Tiles (na dlažbu)
Sub-variant B2: For Concrete (na beton)
Step 1: Drain and Subfloor Preparation. Prepare the drain area and subfloor according to the specific requirements for tiles or concrete. Dimensions for drain placement are similar to Variant A (200 mm x 150 mm, 90°).
Diagram shows drain components and placement, similar to Variant A.
Step 2: Apply Adhesive. For concrete subfloors (B2), apply "Flexi glue" in a wavy pattern. For tile subfloors (B1), the method may differ slightly, but ensure a solid bond.

Step 3: Position Tray. Place the shower tray onto the prepared subfloor. Ensure it is correctly aligned.
Step 4: Secure Tray. Use mounting brackets to fix the tray securely. Ensure the tray is level.

Variant C: Installation with Ytong + Tiles
This variant is designed for installations using Ytong blocks and tiles.
Step 1: Drain Installation. Install the drain assembly into the prepared subfloor. The required depth for the drain connection is approximately min 250 mm. The tray height can be adjusted within a range of 96-125 mm with 30 mm adjustment capability. Maintain a 2-3 mm gap.
