Safety Information

Mocka Cots are designed and tested to ensure they comply with Australian & New Zealand safety standards. Testing is carried out through specialist testing laboratories with the right skills, experience, and equipment to ensure cots comply with the mandatory standard.

Your cot features an important safety label with advice regarding safe sleeping. This is a permanent label and a mandatory requirement of the safety standard Mocka Cots are tested to. It is important your cot is assembled and positioned in your Nursery so the label is always visible during everyday use.

WARNING ⚠️

  • Infant should be placed to sleep on a firm flat surface.
  • Place infant on their back when using this product.
  • Do not put objects or accessories in an infant sleep environment.
  • Do not place this product near a blind, cord, strap or similar item that could become wrapped around an infant's neck.

This is a permanent label do not remove.

WARNING: Check this product regularly before using it, and do not use if any part is loose or missing or if there are any signs of damage. Do not substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer if replacement parts or additional instructions are needed.

Recommended Mattress Size: This cot is manufactured for use with a mattress measuring 1300mm long x 690mm wide x 100mm in thickness. This ensures gaps between the mattress and cot sides do not exceed 40mm (or 20mm when centered) to minimize the risk of a child's limb becoming caught. The mattress thickness ensures the cot depth is greater than 500mm in the lower position to minimize the risk of a child climbing or falling out.

General Safety Placement: Ensure the cot is placed at a reasonable distance from curtains, blinds, heaters, and power points. Keep all medications, string, elastic, small toys, or small items, such as money, out of reach from any position in the cot.

Tools Required: Phillips & Flathead screwdrivers and hammer. For quicker assembly, a power drill on a low-speed setting is recommended.
