- Just for Starters... poster: Helps you get started with setting up your computer.
- Aspire Series Generic User Guide: Contains useful information applying to all models in the Aspire product series, covering basic topics such as Acer's Empowering Technology, keyboard, and audio. Note that this guide may refer to functions or features only contained in certain models.
- AcerSystem User Guide: Introduces basic features and functions. It contains detailed information on system utilities, data recovery, expansion options, and troubleshooting, as well as warranty information and safety notices. This guide is available in Portable Document Format (PDF) and comes preloaded on your notebook.
To access the AcerSystem User Guide:
- Click on Start > All Programs > AcerSystem.
- Click on AcerSystem User Guide.
Note: Viewing the file requires Adobe Reader. If Adobe Reader is not installed, clicking on AcerSystem User Guide will run the setup program first. Follow on-screen instructions for installation. For help with Adobe Reader, access the Help and Support menu.

Hotkeys
The computer employs hotkeys or key combinations to access most of the computer's controls like screen brightness, volume output. To activate hotkeys, press and hold the <Fn> key before pressing the other key in the hotkey combination.
