Product Overview
This document provides instructions and installation guidance for the Haverland SIMPLY electric radiator, featuring Bluetooth connectivity for smart control.
The product is a white electric radiator, as depicted in the accompanying visuals. It can be controlled via a smartphone app, offering features like weekly programming, temperature control, and intelligent functions.
Available for download are the Haverland mobile applications from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Links to Haverland's YouTube channel and the retailer "heatershop" are also provided.
The product is marked with the CE conformity symbol and the WEEE symbol indicating proper disposal requirements.
1. General Warnings and Cautions
Please read these instructions carefully before use.
- To disconnect mains power, remove the plug from the wall socket; never pull the cable.
- Do not leave the mains cable in contact with the radiator when it is switched on.
- Keep the radiator well away from combustible materials such as curtains, carpets, and furniture during operation.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by not reading these instructions.
- WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- WARNING: If the mains power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their after-sales service, or similar qualified persons to prevent danger.
- WARNING: If the heater is installed in a bathroom, position it so it cannot be touched by anyone in the bath or shower.
- Installation must comply with manufacturer's instructions and relevant National Wiring Regulations (e.g., BS7671).
- Ensure a good electric earth connection for the radiator.
- The radiator's mains plug must always be accessible.
- Do not install the radiator below or in front of a mains socket.
- This radiator cannot be surface-mounted with a wall; safety distances must always be respected.
Child Safety Precautions:
- The radiator has a keyboard blockage option to prevent children from changing programming.
- This unit is not designed for unsupervised use by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental handicaps, or those with little experience or knowledge. Adult supervision is required.
- Children under three must be kept well away from the heater unless continually supervised.
- Children between three and eight may only switch the unit off or on if it is in its final operating location and they are supervised or have received safe usage instructions.
- Children between three and eight must not plug in, adjust, clean, or perform maintenance on the heater.
- Children older than eight and persons with limited experience/knowledge may use the unit if duly trained and supervised by an adult.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be performed by adults. Children must not play with the unit.
- WARNING: Certain parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Special attention is required when children and other vulnerable persons are present.
- Do not touch the external parts of the radiator when it is operating.
- A "new" smell is normal on first switch-on; allow the heater to operate in a well-ventilated place for two to three hours.
2. Installation Instructions
Before the first switch-on of the season or after a long period of disuse, clean the unit according to the maintenance section to avoid burning accumulated dust.
- This radiator cannot operate with external programmable controllers or other exterior control devices.
- [info] Keep bags and accessories well out of the reach of children.
- Convection effects and ambient factors may cause discolouring to metal and plastic surfaces.
- Temperature differences can cause crackling or other noises; this does not indicate a failure.
- Dispose of the radiator according to current waste processing and recycling legislation.
Mounting Instructions:
[important] It is crucial that the radiator is fixed firmly to a solid and level wall.
- Ensure a socket is available near the intended placement area.
- Use the cardboard template provided in the box to mark the exact positions for drill holes.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between the radiator and any object, wall, or combustible material. The diagram illustrates these clearance requirements.

Installation Steps:
- Prepare: Use the cardboard template to mark drill hole positions on the wall. A power drill is shown.
- Fix Brackets (Partial): Place screws into the wall brackets but do not screw them in fully. Screw size: M. 6 x 40 mm.
- Attach Brackets: Securely attach the mounting brackets to the wall using 4 screws (5.5 x 50 mm).
- Position Radiator: Align the radiator with the wall brackets.
- Mount Radiator: Slide the radiator upwards, place it over the top tangs, and then lower it gently into position.
- Secure Radiator: Screw down the radiator fully to lock it onto the brackets.
- Connect Power: Plug the 3-pin 13 amp plug into a suitable socket.
- Power On: Press the ON/OFF switch located on the right rear part of the unit.

3. Operation
3.1 Controls
The control panel on the radiator features the following:
- Ambient Thermostat Knob
- Antifreeze Mode indicator (LED)
- "In operation" Indicator LED
- Comfort Mode button
- AUTO "Bluetooth®" Mode button
- "Bluetooth®" Indicator LED
3.2 Manual Mode
- Press the ON/OFF button on the right side. The appliance has a built-in thermostat for temperature regulation.
- The "In operation" indicator LED will illuminate when the radiator is working.
- To set the room temperature, turn the electronic thermostat control knob to the desired position. The thermostat will maintain a constant temperature.
- The thermostat includes an antifreeze position. At minimum setting, the appliance will activate when room temperature drops to 5°C.
Note 1: The "In operation" indicator LED colour changes to reflect the selected temperature range:
- Red: Temperature over 24°C
- Yellow: Temperature between 19°C and 24°C
- Green: Temperature equal to or lower than 19°C
- Blue: Temperature equal to or lower than 5°C
3.3 AUTO "Bluetooth®" Mode
Haverland offers a mobile application ("Haverland BT") for weekly programming (day by day, hour by hour) via smartphone or tablet. Download the app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Note 2: Ensure you download the correct "Haverland BT" application.
App Usage Steps:
- Open the Haverland BT app.
- The app displays a Start Screen.
- Navigate to the Programming Screen, which shows a weekly calendar grid.
- Select comfort and economy temperatures.
- By pressing icons, choose the desired operating mode for each hour and day.
Note 3: To simplify programming, you can copy a day's program to subsequent days.
Programming and Connection:
- Press the "Connect" button to access the "Connection" screen.
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device to allow the Haverland_BT app to connect.
- Turn the thermostat control knob to the AUTO position. The "Bluetooth®" LED on the radiator should flash.
IMPORTANT: If the "Bluetooth®" LED does not flash, turn the knob counterclockwise and return it to the AUTO position.
Linking and Sending Program:
- Press the search icon in the app.
- The radiator will appear on your smartphone. Select "HAVERLAND" (it will show a grey background).
- The radiator is now linked to your smartphone or tablet.
- To finish, "send" the configured program to your radiator by pressing the send icon (depicted as a mobile device with a dotted line to a radiator).
Note 4: To disconnect the radiator from your smartphone or tablet, or to connect another radiator, press the disconnect icon (link with a cross).
Note 5: Once the program is sent, the radiator switches to automatic mode, overriding other modes including "anti-frost". The "BLUETOOTH®" indicator LED shows the radiator is in AUTOMATIC mode and connected to your smartphone.
Note 6: If you forget your programmed settings, you can "recover" them by navigating to the PROGRAMMING screen and pressing the "recover" icon (downward arrow into a grid).
Note 7: To link your mobile device, press the search icon and turn the knob to the AUTO position.
3.4 Disconnecting the Mains Supply / Supply Cut Off
If the radiator is disconnected from the mains for more than 2 hours, or if there is a power cut, you MUST update the clock and the day of the week.
The programmed parameters (temperatures and programming) are retained in memory.
To Update Clock and Day: Download the "Haverland BT" App, link your mobile device to the radiator (follow previous point 6), and click on the app icon. The clock and day will be updated via the internet.
3.5 ITCS Intelligent Function
The radiator incorporates an innovative ITCS smart temperature control system. This system activates the device up to 2 hours in advance of the scheduled time, ensuring the desired temperature is achieved at the specified time according to the weekly schedule.
Note 8: This intelligent function is only available in AUTO mode.
3.6 "Open Window" Function
This function activates automatically when there is a sudden drop in room temperature.
Note 9: When this function is activated, the "In operation" Indicator LED turns blue (Antifreeze Mode). The radiator switches off to avoid unnecessary energy consumption.
To deactivate, when closing the window, the radiator will detect a temperature rise. Alternatively, turn the thermostat control knob to the left and then back to the AUTO position. The radiator will then switch on again, returning to its previous state.
Note 10: This intelligent function is only available in AUTO mode.
4. Maintenance
Your device requires no special maintenance.
Clean any accumulated dust with a dry and soft cloth. It is advisable to clean accumulated dust from the radiator surface at the beginning of the winter season.
NEVER USE SOLVENTS OR ABRASIVE PRODUCTS.
Guarantee
MARSAN INDUSTRIAL, S.A. guarantees that the devices comply with contracted specifications. This warranty covers the model of heater shown on the invoice and is valid for manufacturing and operating defects for normal domestic use for 24 months from the purchase date.
HAVERLAND guarantees against material, design, or manufacturing faults for 2 years from original acquisition. The electronic component and paintwork/finish are covered for 3 years, and the aluminium body for 10 years (excluding accidental damage, transport, and misuse).
This warranty only covers the device model appearing on the purchase invoice.
The warranty DOES NOT COVER:
- Incorrect installation, maintenance, cleaning, or conserving.
- Failures due to force majeure, chemical agents, or atmospheric phenomena.
- Incorrect use of the device.
- Purchaser's faulty electrical installations.
- Transporting the device.
- Problems caused by unauthorized handling of the device.
This warranty must not be modified, altered, or extended. The Manufacturer does not authorize anyone to do so.
This warranty applies only to the Product.
