FAQ of Qingping Temp & RH Monitor H Version
Thank you for purchasing our product. Below are the solutions for some known problems:
1. Cannot get historical data with Qingping+
If after using the product for a few days, you still cannot get historical data in Qingping+ app, like this:
App Screen 1: Displays 'Home Goose H' with current temperature 23°C (Optimum) and humidity 41% (Optimum). Below, under 'Temp °C' and 'RH %', both '24-hour' and '30-day' views show 'No historical data'.
Please make sure that you have a home hub device (e.g., HomePod or HomePod mini, Apple TV 4th gen or newer) when you check the data remotely (the iPhone is not close to the product), or you have your iPhone and the Qingping Temp & RH Monitor H Version close to each other (e.g., within 15 feet or 5 meters).
If you have a hub device, or the iPhone is close to the product, this is how to solve the problem:
1.1 Update the firmware of the product to the latest version (v3.0.5 or newer) with Qingping+ app:
App Screen 2: Shows 'Home Goose H' with an option to 'Export Historical Data' and 'Firmware Update' indicating version '2.9.4'.
Note: The product needs to be close to the iPhone when updating its firmware, and Qingping+ app should be newer than v2.0.5.
1.2 After the firmware is updated, Qingping+ app will remind you to delete the product and add it back again:
App Screen 3: Displays 'Qingping Temp & RH H' with a message 'Unable to get necessary informations, please re-add the device.'
Please follow the below steps:
- Delete the product from Qingping+.
- Reset the product to its factory settings: press and hold the button on the back of the product, and release after the screen displays "188", wait for the product to return to display normal temperature and humidity readings, then the product is reset to factory settings.
- Add the product in Qingping+.
After re-adding the product, it should work normally. If it's not, please email us: support@qingping.co.
2. Cannot connect to the product
If Apple Home or Qingping+ app cannot connect to the product, and the iPhone is already close to the product, it might be because you have reset the product to its factory settings. Please delete the product from the app, and add it back, then try again.
3. The product is not responding, even when its button is pressed
How to solve the problem:
- Please change or reinstall the battery.
- Please check if the battery is installed properly:

After correctly re-installing the battery, the product should work normally. If it's not, please email us: support@qingping.co.
4. The readings on the app are different from those on the product's display
The apps (both Qingping+ and Apple Home) fetch data less frequently from the product than the readings' change on the product's display. You can update the product's firmware with Qingping+ to get a faster response – the product will broadcast a change when the temperature change is larger than 0.5°, or the relative humidity change is larger than 5%, if its firmware is newer than v3.0.5, even when it's not the time for the periodic broadcast.
