Tool List

The following installation tools are recommended but not provided with the Access Point. Please prepare them yourself:

  • PH(2#) T10 Torx 10 Phillips screwdriver
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Wire stripper
  • Diagonal pliers
  • Hammer drill
  • Drill
  • Marker
  • Rubber hammer

Introduction to Installation Accessories

The following accessories are included with the Access Point:

  • Mounting bracket (x3)
  • M3 x 23.5 mm security screw (x3)
  • Screw anchors and screws (three sets)
  • M4 x 30 mm pan-head screws (three sets)

Mounting the Device

Before mounting, connect cables to the AP. Install the M3 x 23.5 mm security screw as required.

Mounting Bracket Features:

  • A: Installation hole for securing the mounting bracket to a wall or ceiling.
  • B: Reserved T-rail installation hole.
  • C: Auxiliary hole for securing cables with a cable tie.
  • D: Installation hole reserved for electrical outlet box installation.
  • E: Auxiliary hole for threading a cable to connect to the AP.
  • 6: Security hole for an M3 x 23.5 mm security screw.

Mounting the Device on a Wall

  1. Mark installation hole locations on the wall. Ensure alignment with bracket holes A. (Refer to diagram showing distances: 45mm / 1.77in and 77mm / 3.03in).
  2. Drill three holes with a diameter of 6 mm (0.24 in) at the marked locations.
  3. Hammer a screw anchor into each hole.
  4. Install the M3 x 23.5 mm security screw into the mounting bracket. Ensure the screw does not obstruct the keyhole slot.
  5. Use screws to attach the mounting bracket to the wall.
  6. Align the pegs on the device's rear with the keyhole slots on the mounting bracket. Rest the device on the bracket and slide it down until it clicks into place.
  7. Use a Torx screwdriver to fasten the M3 x 23.5 mm security screw (recommended torque: 0.6 N-m).

Mounting the Device on the Ceiling

The installation method for the M3 x 23.5 mm security screw is the same for wall and ceiling mounting.

  1. Remove the ceiling tile. Mark installation holes on the tile and drill three holes.
  2. Use the M4 x 30 mm pan-head screws to attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling tile (recommended torque: 1.6 N-m).
  3. Align the pegs on the device's rear with the keyhole slots on the mounting bracket. Attach the device to the bracket and slide it horizontally until it clicks into place.

(Optional) Securing Device Cables for Ceiling Mounting

A cable tie is not provided. Prepare one yourself. Before connecting cables to the device:

  • Insert a cable tie through the cable tie installation hole (C) on the mounting bracket.
  • Loosely tie up the device cables.
  • Connect the cables to the device.
  • Adjust the cable length, tighten the cable tie, and then mount the device to the installation bracket.

Connecting a Power Adapter

A power adapter is not provided with the device. Please order one separately.

Note: The device supports 54V power input.

Connecting an Ethernet Cable

Connect an Ethernet cable to the appropriate port on the device.

Available ports include:

  • 5GE/PoE++ (for high-speed data and Power over Ethernet)
  • GE/PoE_OUT (for Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet output)

Ensure the cable is securely connected.
