The 8420PC can be mounted to a new installation of the 8420, prior to wall or ceiling mount, or mounted directly to an existing 8420 already installed to the wall or ceiling. Included · 3/8" Polycarbonate Sheet (2) · Attachment Brackets (4) · 10-32 Attachment Screws (8) Important This guide contains safety information which should be read thoroughly before permanently installing the product. 1 INSTALLATION Before installing, note that adding the 8420PC to an 8420 adds 6lbs (2.7kg) to the total weight of the 8420. 1. Peel off the protective liners on both sides of each polycarbonate sheet. IG-8420PC-06112024 support@algosolutions.com Page 1 88442200 PPrrootteeccttiivvee CCoovveerr 2. Slide the attachment brackets over each corner of the 8420. The rubber pads on the bracket will provide a snug fit. 3. Install the polycarbonate sheet to the attachment brackets on both sides using the provided attachment screws. Each side requires four (4) screws. Ensure the rectangular cut-out of the polycarbonate sheet is aligned to the rectangular speaker grill of the 8420.
