Frame Overview
The digital photo frame features the following components:
- 1. Wall Mount Hole: For mounting the frame on a wall.
- 2. Power Button: Press and hold for 5 seconds to power on. Press once to turn the screen on/off. Press and hold for 2 seconds for power off option. Avoid unplugging the power adapter while the device is on.
- 3. SD Card Slot: Used to import photos to the frame or export photos to an SD card for backup. Photos cannot be displayed directly from an SD card.
- 4. Headphone Jack: For audio output.
- 5. USB 2.0 Port: For use with flash storage devices (USB/thumb drive) to import and export photos. Photos cannot be displayed directly from a USB drive, and the frame cannot be connected to a computer via this port.
- 6. Mini USB Port: For use by technicians during setup and service only. Does not support photo import/export.
- 7. DC (Power) Port: For connecting the power adapter.

Frame Initial Setup
To set up your frame:
- Plug in the power adapter to turn on the frame. Allow up to 15 seconds for the AiMOR system to load.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to set up the frame using the touchscreen.
- Select Language: Choose your preferred system language.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Name Your Frame: Enter a name for your frame and its location (e.g., "Living Room").
- Set Time Zone: Select your current time zone.
Download the AiMOR App on Your Phone
To share photos and videos with your frame, download the free AiMOR app on your mobile device. Search for "AiMOR" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
The app allows you to share special moments from anywhere in the world.
Connecting to a Frame
To send pictures to your frame using the AiMOR app, follow these steps:
- Download the AiMOR app on your phone.
- On your frame, click the add friend icon. A unique code will appear, valid for 12 hours.
- On the AiMOR app, click the plus icon (+) under the device tab and enter the code from the frame.
- Your mobile app is now connected to the frame.
- Share the frame code with friends or family to allow them to connect and share photos. There is no limit to the number of users that can connect.
Sharing Photos & Videos from AiMOR to a Frame
Once connected, you can select photos and videos to share to the frame via the AiMOR app.
The AiMOR App
- Select Photos/Videos: Take a photo/video or select one or more from your albums.
- Choose Recipients: Select the frame(s) you want to send to.
- Add Caption: Write a caption to accompany the image or video.
Batch Upload
When your phone and photo frame are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can batch upload photos.
Quick Menu
Tap the screen once to access the quick menu. This menu allows you to:
- Favorite: Add the current photo/video to your favorites.
- Hide Photo: Make the current photo not appear in the slideshow. The photo is not deleted and can be unhidden later.
- Gallery: View all photos and videos stored on the frame. You can switch between viewing all files and only favorited files.
- Fit to Frame: Display the photo fully, cropping if necessary for orientation. Extra background space will be blurred.
- Fill Frame: Crop the photo to fill the screen in either orientation.
- Adjust Photo: Adjust which part of the photo is displayed when using fill frame mode.
- Add Friend: Generate a code to share with friends to allow them to send photos.
- Quick Settings: Access quick settings options.
- Power Off: Power off, restart, or put the frame to sleep.
- Settings: Access the detailed settings menu.
Note on Icons:
- ?: WiFi status (strong signal).
- ☁️: WiFi status (no signal).
- ☁️: Server status (connecting to server).
- ☁️: Server status (disconnecting from server).
Detailed Settings Menu
Access the detailed settings by tapping the screen, then tapping the Settings icon.
Frame
- Frame Name: Change the name of your frame.
- Frame Location: Change the listed location of your frame.
- Set Language: Change the system language.
- Time Zone: Set the time zone for features like sleep mode. The frame uses a 24-hour format, which can be toggled on or off.
Manage
- Photos Stored: View the number of photos/videos and available storage space.
- Show/hide Photos: Select photos to hide from the slideshow. Hidden photos are not deleted. Use [hide/show icon] to hide or show all photos.
- Delete Photos: Permanently delete selected photos. Use the trash can icon [trash can icon] to delete.
- Import Photos: Import photos from an SD card. Select photos and click the import button. Videos cannot be imported from external storage. Use [select/deselect all icon] to select or deselect all.
- Export Photos: Export photos from the frame to external storage using an SD card.
Friends
- Friend Settings: Manage permissions for friends to share frame codes with others. You can also delete friends.
- Delete Friend: Remove a person from your friends list. They will no longer be able to send photos. You can also delete all photos from that person.
- Add Friend: Tap the add friend button [add friend icon] and share the frame code to allow a new person to send photos. They will be added automatically when they connect via the mobile app.
Display
- Brightness Level: Adjust the screen brightness.
- Time & Temperature: Toggle to display local time and temperature on the slideshow.
- Sleep Mode: Automatically turn off the screen at a set time (default 11:00 PM) and wake up at a set time (default 7:00 AM) to save power. The frame remains powered on and can receive photos during sleep mode.
Slideshow
- Timer: Define the duration each photo is displayed.
- Show Caption: Enable to display captions added by friends.
- Fill Frame: Choose between "Fill frame" (cropped to fit screen) or "Fit to frame" (fully displayed with blurred background).
- Photo Display Order: Choose to display photos by date or shuffled.
- Videos: Adjust video volume, autoplay, and playback mode.
Wi-Fi
Select a Wi-Fi network to connect. For networks with captive portals, a web browser icon will appear to enter credentials.
Notifications
Turn notifications on/off and adjust notification volume.
Backup
Back up frame contents to external storage (SD card):
- Insert SD card.
- Go to Settings > Backup.
- Tap "Back up the contents of this photo frame".
- The last backup time will be displayed. Note: Existing backups on the SD card will be overwritten.
Automatic Backup
If enabled, the frame will automatically back up within 30 hours of receiving new photos or making changes.
Factory Reset
Removes all data (photos, videos, friends, settings) from the frame permanently.
